Yes 1pencil thinking about it makes sense as mm has been very quiet and so has the company and it seems like they were working on some deals in the background and now it looks like the cat is out the bag and things are coming together. There will be a mad scramble to close short positions Monday as news is digested in my view. Great for longs and this should propel us towards £2 and beyond and I won’t be surprised if we get an offer as early as next week for a significant premium to the ridiculously low current valuation which does not even reflect the underlying company value. I still think this can easily surge on Monday by 50p and would expect it up and nearer £2 mark by Monday even before any news and many shorts will not have heard or seen the news and will be scrambling to close, thus we could see some serious bipolar movement

Yes and these products are always in demand from consumers. Confidence will be restored and I wouldn’t be surprised to see 50p plus movements upwards in a day as this stock can easily move. Just one piece of positive next news will see this much higher, mm giving up golden share would open us up to offers so business is great and long May it continue.

Just reread the latest trading update and gives me great confidence and comfort to ignore the negative posts as business is doing well and looking forward to seeing what MM has up his sleeve

Let’s not forget the company has plenty of cash and could instigate a buy back also, so plenty of options. In my view, any takeout will be at a significant premium.

Agree with Ste2000 - it was a forced sell by SW probably a covenant clause in the loan agreement - either way it looks like some shares exchanged hands as 4000,000 was bought in a single transaction yesterday. This clears the way now for value accretion and governance improvement as a result and i'm happy in my mind with what this transaction represents - as alluded by other posters SW is not a board member but merely an employee.

As I said earlier good for governance going forward as it clears things up
