What is a scam?
A scam is a dishonest scheme that aims to get money, or something else of value, from its victims.
Many well-known scams are targeted at private individuals or consumers, but there is also a range of scams that target businesses. All sizes and types of businesses can be vulnerable to scams. The losses to individual victims range from a few tens of pounds up to millions.
If a business understands its own vulnerabilities and can recognise a scam for what it is, it can reduce its risk of being caught out.
Plot:
A cynical TV weatherman finds himself reliving the same day over and over again when he goes on location to the city of Manchester to film a report about their short order marginal field deal.
His predicament drives him to distraction, until he sees a way of turning the situation to his advantage and finds an AIM share with real world potential.
Thoughts? Box Office hit?
Ben - really? MMs responsible for this awful SP?? I think we need to not kid ourselves with voodoo and witchcraft and face the realities of a company that is still generating £0 revenue annually.
Not sure what is going on but I am not getting firm quotes anymore...
not_sure I completely agree - if you don't like it then vote with your legs, especially if you have been posting your reservations for the last 6 months or so.
A certain ex-employee of MFDevCo, with the role of 'Business Development' has given an insight into his role on a certain professional social media website:
"I have also undertaken due diligence in the form of data rooms for frontier exploration in Middle Eastern basins during a phase in new ventures."
Ok, obrigado, eu não acho que o NUOG esteja envolvido de alguma forma. Talvez TM, mas ainda não temos link.
Pah.
Getting married next week - what are my chances of affording a honeymoon?
You're right...it doesn't die...there is a new Karate Kid spin off series that has won 'Teen Choice' nominations (not sure if that is a mark of success or not!).
mfdevco and nu-oil - tried looking for info and have this message:

Both websites down?
No really sure, it at least indicates that there is more to this New Charter than meets the eye but also suggests that shareholders aren't convinced that Dommo can pull this off by themselves.
There are murmurings of 'a partner' from the BR BBs.
Mostly revolves around affording the 50 million USD required to cancel the TBMT Buying Option. There are question marks are over whether this figure is included in the latest results or in Q4 as this has not been disclosed (some think this is due to protecting the identity of the money source.
As far as I am aware NUOG isn't looking to drill anything anytime soon!
Your not wrong Billf, the other board is full of jokers!
Did notice this though:

Anyone can confirm what "DPA1150a being approved" means in the context of NUOG operations?"
Haven't come across this before, abbreviation for a Brazilian well?
Additionally a Brazilian investor called OmarTrader refers to the faith in a NUOG bid to increase production to '100 thousand barrels a day'.
LT - understood, I think there is more time spent throwing tantrums than trying to understand the situation as it unfolds.
Major - the reaction was positive, the idea that uncertainty (around the sudden withdrawal of the FSPO OX-3 from TM) was squashed and there is active effort to increase production for the lifetime of the field.
There where a surprising amount of people mentioning NUOG in relation to the New Charter, it seems like they are joining the dots between increased production and MFDevCo intervention including mentioning the 'Chinese technology'.
