EOL - Not as exciting as VOG, but not far behind. This stayed around 70p for so long, I even got some at 63p. Then they have just taken off, looking at past data, if someone wants to take this company over they will have to bid £2.00, for EOL to trade inline with 888,PRTY and SBT (this is key one), then the P/E must allign, providing plenty of upside. Bid speculation, remember SBT offered 280p before it collapsed, does not look unrealstic, as EOL trading update shows, this is a serious growth market and costs of recruitment have been held steady proving good management. Legal costs against PRTY is a drag, but is factored in, and a positive settlement could give this share wings! I am in, heavily in, on my head be it, but follow this crowd.
EOL - Glad I only slightly reduced stock on this one, portfolio still heavily weighted with this stock, what a trading update, looks like I am in for long haul on this one, I can only see blue skies now, as soon as litigation with prty is out of way, this should rocket, based on p/e ratio and this is growth stock, prey for bigger players, they really know how to recruit spenders at empire, i think prty will settle out of court btw.
EOL - GedW, I have been trading this for sometime now, it has been a reliable little number between 70-80p, Sell now, it will fall back next week, and then fill boots again. I agree share does need a re-rating, if it carries on to 85p, I would become a buyer around 80p, and hopefully the trendline would start to move towards £1+ territory, this is like PRTY shares a while back, bit of +ve newsflow and it will rocket. Numis holds a 131p target and BUY rating, it is not alone!
ASC- After the explosion, it is unclear how badly ASC are affected without actually visting hemel, However the directors suspended shares which seems a good move. They also added they are fully insured for this, but with this happening in the busiest month of the year, Profits will surely be hit. When shares do come back on trading board, they will take a dent, but if this is overdone, it could be a chance to get back in a bit cheaper as these are on a very high P/E. This company has potential to double in size several times over the next few years, but 56m mkt cap at present seems slightly pricey.......
DGM - I am interested to know where you found out a broker had revised target to 5.4p. Also I noticed in IC that they mentioned if shares were sat at 5p, the company may be vulnerable to a bid.
SCR So when would be good price to get back in, 8 - 8.5p ish?? If this update on 14th is bad, share price will be hammered, it seems bit of a gamble now, how much of the companies interests are riding on this particular danfeng project? Also whats your opinion on EOL? Perhaps better bet for S/T gains now against PRTY?
SCR - 24% JUMP today? why? no news anywhere? Glad I topped up on recent weakness, sat on nice profit now, do I hold or sell? Anyone any ideas? GedW? You are usually good on these things?
IDD - Please bear in mind that 1,000,000 shares is only £10k, which is purely private investor territory. Its a difficult one to guess, since there is little news flow, I do hold IDD and consider price as buying opportunity, however I think this share will not move until we hear some good figures, not projects.
PRTY- Join the party, a very positive Q3 trading statement issued this morning, the only negative I could pick up on was slightly lesser revenue, but this hasnt affected bottom line segal was careful to point out. I think now we should comfortably push for £1+ territory in the coming months, after all, October always is a shocker!!
PRTY looking at the trade volumes, it seems this share is floating until some news comes through whether good or bad, however personally I hold a lot of shares and so am here for lt, as soon as the high 90's approach, i'm gone......
PRTY Fridays statement will be very interesting. I think Seagal will know to choose his words very carefully, but at end of the day we cannot know how well company is doing, according to stats seen on other boards, they have lots of players at moment so thats good, but we shall see. This is still a gamble of a share in the S/T, but L/T should be ok providing USA dont pass laws which is unlikely anytime soon, but someday they will want to have a piece of the huge money leaving its shores worsening their budget deficit!!
IDD - 100M shares now held by Fidelity, i.e 8.4% of company as reported today. Lets hope there is something in the offing for this company. Glad to see Fidelity on board.
HHO up 63% in 2 days but newsflow non existent, buys all over the show, who knows something that I don't? GedW, you are usually good in these instances, although I know you said you are out of this one.
PRTY Thanks unicorn, I'm glad someone is still talking on this share. I know many of you are still holding. I took advantage of the weaker price to make a volume weighted average of 86p so not much further. The shares should no trade from 75p to 90p before trading statement. I think the chairman will be careful not to make any 'moderating' comments. Whether the city falls for this is another matter. Partygaming will bounce back, the SP does not reflect the average P/E of ftse. Perhaps switching into EOL might be a good move though. Their P/E is now 9 and forecast to be 6.7 in 2007. Not bad for a growth company ripe for takeover too. I don't buy the fact that they are screwed no partygaming has moved its platform, that is all in the SP now and the some anyway.
PRTY. Amazed no posts on this today after huge rise, does anyone else think the bottom was reached at an intra day low of 67p yesterday? Or is todays uptrend just to sucker us back in? SBT results have certainly helped PRTY today and considering PRTY is up more than SBT, it suggests overkill by the market. At end of day, this is the biggest gambling company by a mile, making stacks of cash and plenty of positive moves by managment should help SP for anyone willing to hold 1-2 years? With all that cash, they could easily buy 888.com at 500-600m, and buy the diversification it so surely needs! Opinions anyone? Anyone buying in now?? Gedw?
PRTY 15M buys after hours, that smells like tracker funds piling in because of the4% chop, expect a markup tomorrow for sure, spread bet yourself to your eyeballs
GHT - Interims tomorrow, fingers crossed, as soon as RTN comes online we should see big things, and the previous highs could be swiftly returned to. What do other people think?
PTC Had some spare cash and jumped on board, hope all your guys optimism is well founded, on the subject of student loans, I'm all for it being only 23 and until I was at uni, I could not put in'decent' amounts as otherwise the spread and dealing costs (more like £50 in and out)used to mean I needed bigger movements, I bought O2 at under 40p at uni, and wish i stillhad them! lol
PRTY - I would say reason for fall is no more than reaction to hurricane rita, remember massive part of prtys profits come from across the pond, as well as ftse has drifted all day and now dow and nasdaq have opened lower, no real problems here, and you didnt think the ride upwards would be smooth did you?
