Adrian Hargrave, CEO of SEEEN, explains how the new funds will accelerate customer growth Watch the video here.
888 - I also think anything under £2 is good for these to buy, mt potantial is big, premiership sponsership (boro), snooker championships for 5 years i think (previously embassy - correct me if wrong) and poker champs on ch 4 last night, Great to see, great casino to play also compared with others i have tried, although house edge is not as high on certain games, so is good for gamblers, less so for investors, but the site will certainly pull them in, and pacific poker is still a very small part of profits!
888 - Not much a following for this one on LSE, dont know why, I actively trade this one, sometime daily, one hell of a strong run late today, whats going on? Any ideas? Rumours? Anyone else holding?
EOL - Peddler, I understand your reasons, I also have almost silly exposure to this, and been 4 figures down, but, this is all the more reason to stay in my opinion. If you are going to lay 10k on the line on a risky punt, then wait and let it move in your favour. Other shares such as VOG, SCR, EME, i I would never put much more than 1k in. For me EOL seems a good MT bet, saying that at £2.00 I would sell virtually all my holding with a big smile on my face, If it got to £2, there would be better places to keep my money I think. Personally I think the market is not going to get much past 6200, we are due a serious downturn, so I am holding much in cash now hoping to sell in may and buy back at st ledgers day lol
EOL - To Peddler, I'm pleased to hear about your profits, I have been playing 888 the same way, For EOL, I am less inclined to trade as I hold over 30% of my portfolio in this one, so cannot really increase exposure. Todays rise as far as I can see is the announcement of Results 4th April and analyst meeting. This is a great reaction, and if Noam can whip up enthusiasm for this one with some big boys like Fidelity, £2.00 is feasible. Remember Noam bought 200,000 shares at 240p so that lets you know what he thinks company is worth. The analyst meeting will help EOL re-establish itself on the radars of fund managers, and increased transparency in the market can only help the SP (as long as it is good!) Also lets not forget this next 2 years will see some mega online mergers, Whether EOL gets taken out or not, rumours and rival mergers (which I am sure will take place at high teen P/E's at min) will give this share a rocket to £2 territory once again. I am in for MT on this one..... Roll on results day, The pile in today is probably due to people thinking they can have some of the $250 from Prty, I hope Noam retains this and spends it wisely, better to increase shareholder value by building for LT as this market is still in its infancy. Opinions on this? Or would you prefer quick cash dividend lol?
EOL - The gambling bill that received encouragement on Wednesday makes it much harder to accept CC payments, this is serious but there are ways around it, such as Neteller, Paypal, Firepay and other. I do not think the bill impacts these, Also I am not 100% familiar on US law, but this bill has to get through several stages to become law, this many people is doubtful. The US will want to tax all the money leaving its shores, but I do not think they have what it takes to get this bill though this time, but never say never. Operations such as PRTY will be hit the worst, but we shall see! I see this as LT cloud over whole gambling sector which rears its head now and again to depress prices before they bounce back. This has happened a few times now, so this is a ST blip and chance to buy low. I piled into 888 at 175 yesterday, and am up 5.7% in one day, one must simply be brave and stick with it, accept the bumpy ride!
EOL - Peddler, that is a truly painful song, I can feel it imprinting itself onto my brain on loop. Regarding EOL, yes, I bought high too, and am sat on a loss, but have topped up at lower levels to average price down, I am highly exposed to this stock now, which is preventing me further topping up, but at the end of the day, it is impossible to buy at the bottom and sell at the top, so be happy you are in relatively low, like I said before, I see £1.00 as providing strong resitance, but there is higher barrier at £1.10.
EOL Keep the faith, as Warren Buffet once said only hold stocks if you are willing to hold them for 10 years. Now that is a long time, more than I would like, but it is accepted that the gaming industry is certainly set for an expansinary period which will stretch many years. This is why I hold PRTY, SBT and 888 (I will do tomorrow 185 is a snip). If you look at the long term prospects this is a great bet, similar to the commodities market. As tempting as it can be to make a quick buck, more money will be made by investing rather than trading. If you wish to trade, use CFDs where you can add extra leverage. I hate to lecture but only invest with money you can afford to lose(or at least money you can afford to be without for a certain length of time!)I think EOL may potentially bottom out at £1.00, but since the board have re-iterated full year figures will be in line, despite the legal battle which has added $250 to coffers, support should hold. I think it would be lunacy for EOL to return cash to shareholders. That is something for mature companies, not ones positoned in high growth markets. I am intrigued to see what will happen with the cash, and I think we will know soon. By soon I mean 3-6 months. Again an encouraging sign, is that the shares are still tightly held by management, even when the company was valued at £800m. So my advice is hold, or Buy at these levels, wait for it to rise, it will not be a smooth ride, this is not one for granny, but MT you are
EOL - I did not sell, so have missed this quick trade opportunity, I would say anyone who sold above 130p, buy back original shares held, and enjoy your profit. EOL is now a great bet for the future. The black clouds have lifted and now one can see blue sky ahead for this SP. With Noam Lamir being awash with cash, I am sure he will use it sensibly, 250m usd gives him chance to do many projects to expand business. If also you note, not one director has sold shares yet, indicating they value business at much much more. EOL still expects to meet 37m this year, I think they will beat this, and so can only be very bullish about this stock, forget this going sub £1 now, I am buying again today and tomorrow, then taking two weeks off, and expect gains on my return... comments anyone, GedW you still hanging on??? I know you like a day trade!
EOL - Many may of sold yesterday at 137, and would have been wise, as it seems the market have factored in settlement @ 1/4 of original claim. I am still holding, ok, the SP is knocked today, but EOL have restated profits are in line, and now they have a very healthy balance sheet.
Eol - Cynic, lemmings is a great term, I hadnt used it for a while, but glad it is back in circulation now, just spoke to my city contact, he is bullish, but has no new news, I will post any info I get on this if Its received before the market hears, however may struggle once i go HK.
EOL - As probably noticed, buyers coming in like lemmings at 135-136p, good volume, all points to a happy fozzyb, enjoy this one folks.........
EOL - My friend in the city who is very good on passing whispers to me, tells me cynic is most probably right. Despite harassing many people, everyone is staying unusually tight lipped and pulling poker faces to excuse the pun. He does tell me certainly some good news is factored into the SP at these prices, but he said only a madman would sell below 150p, so for all you out there holding this one, continue, I am off to HK for 3 weeks, but will be checking this one frequently on my crackberry.
EOL - It was reported in the times this morning, settlement was expected to be around £115m ($200), bit less than the 200 in sterling i guessed, but i'm still taking credit lol! What is unclear is, how much of this is factored into the SP already. I would hope for a sharp dart upwards to around 150p, after that, I will probably reduce my holding and continue to hold as a growth stock. Next week is guaranteed to be interesting!!!!!!
EOL - 2 ord trades of 200k and 300k, I'm liking this story more and more, could have got in cheaper, but who cares? you always can, if you wait too long you miss out, gedw, i think 170 is fair target, i think that L/T, this could do a hell of a lot, sector consolidation makes this ripe. By my calculations, the p/e today is presently around 10.42, on this basis alone, I think the share is worth 1.5x what it is now, as this is a growth story! 200p in 2006 is not crazy talk. People thought this was worth much more not long ago!!!! £800m - sbt!!!
EOL - Settlement as quoted in the times this morning under their 'rumour of the day' section, will be substantially less than the $1bn (570m) filed for, but we knew that was always unlikely. I think 150-200 would be fair, but maybe as a shareholder, I am an optomist. Does anyone else have any ideas? How much of this is factored into price also? I would like to see 170p, I also sold out yesterday at 128.5p and re- bought at 128p, nice broker fees!, but that was before RNS. As a rule, Times business 'rumour of day' is usually bang on the money, I remember seeing Vog there before a couple of times, if only.......
EOL- I just got in heavy, dismantling my safe stocks of RBS, De la Rue, bSkyB, my bet is the settlement is no where near the 570 million, but I would expect 200m, which is over half of eol's Market cap. This could add 50p to SP, I am in sooo heavy now, I am praying for this one, not one to recommend for your granny, but I aint been this excited for a while (maybe cos i missed and continue to miss VOG)
EOL - GedW, you are right to watch the rns, good spot! although i thought you did not care for £1+ shares? If you remember my CSR call, there are some out there which will double your money, and this EOL is such a one! Hang tight, it may be bumpy, but Prty are going to pay out, does anyone wish to guess how much??????????????
EOL - Is it just me? Why does no one else seem interested in this stock? Surefire winner...............
EOL- £1m BUY, this is not a tiddler like others who see 1m buy on IDD and get excited, this is a £1m trade, not big in city terms, but bigger than private investors usually manage. This suggests a few city boys like this stock, and with them on side, blue sky is my bet..... Wish I sold at 118 and got back in, but nevermind, I am here for MT now, if i had sold it would only have gone to 130 and I would have been mad with myself, You cannot buy and sell at the absolute peaks and troughs, I mean if you bought VOG at 9am, you now would have made 10%. Anyway, others comments would be appreciated, Thanks for yours cynic.
EOL - Expect dust to settle after such a star performance. from ft.com read Shares in Empire Online jumped almost 15 per cent on Tuesday after the British internet poker company under pressure from PartyGaming, its larger rival, said it was confident of reaching its full year pre-tax profit forecast of $37m from its own gaming platforms. However, falling profits and revenues show the group is still struggling with a bad hand as it tries to develop its own gaming platform to make up for lost revenues and at 99¼p the shares are still trading at a substantial discount to the price of 175p when the group listed in June. Total gaming revenue at the British internet gaming company was reported up on Tuesday compared to the fourth quarter last year, but the total of $22.5m was almost a third less than the $31.4m earned in the third quarter and over half of the revenue was still derived from Empire Poker, a “skin” that leads players to the game engine of PartyGaming, a rival poker group. 175p should be attainable in 6 months now, I truly believe. Potential to make money from PRTY is limited now. Better to be a small fish, there were buys at over 118 today. Out of 4 analysts that follow this, 2 BUY, 1 OVERWEIGHT, 1 HOLD, Current P/E is still only 9.15 at 115p, plenty of upside here!! Jump in! The waters lovely!
