The overriding issue is the board options and continues to remain so. They should not have issued those options to themselves especially with many long term pis sitting there waiting for over 3p to trigger their warrants and time running out. The chance of the sp getting to those levels and getting warrants triggered which would have been extremely positive has been severely hampered by this.

The board should have issued options at the same price as those warrants. A lot of long term investors are v aggrieved by this and this not going away anytime soon.

The board needs to unwind these options.

Admiral I think it shows you where the market is at currently. The chat boards would have tons of posts all hyped up but think you were the only one to post!

It shows you what is needed to move a market at the moment, assay results & resources that are kind of expected aren’t enough to drive an sp.

Whilst most expect the debt ceiling to pass through eventually it looks like it’s heading to create vol and in 2011 s&p was down about 17% on back of concerns and vol before recovering. It’s a big old political battle ground this year ahead of election.

Cpi coming which should in theory actually be supportive as inflation should be coming down. However other Data numbers are slowly implying the impending most talked about recession ever is coming!

I personally think a lot of investors, pis etc myself included want to start seeing some actual returns and capital returns to investments.

Belief is there. That hasn’t gone away and I intend to at least double my holding but requires more than just assay results and resource validation.

They need to unwind the options they gave themselves. All they’ve done with them is annoyed investors and that’s was really disappointing. Will keep a lid on things and we’ve struggled to push on ever since. Really naive and needs unwinding asap.

Think the developed world mines will become even more important as struggle to see even a chance ever nationalised. For me it wipes off considering investment in these parts Of the world.
All the ecb comments are hugely supportive they are clearly under the pump pun not intended.
I was reading a piece that said the increase in coal usage in 2023 has unwound a decade of clean carbon progress.
Next g7 summit is 17th may is critical for govts to actually achieving something.

Jam I think few things with 1&2 below most prominent
1 - lithium shortage to meet ev demand in Europe (ft article today)
2 - Eu retaliation to Biden inflation reduction act in the USA
3 - China gdp materially higher, was good article about pent up demand similar to what we saw here post lockdowns
4 - China story about fixing lithium prices
5 - esg stories and sustainable net 0 demand through roof. Ecb changing its framework here and it’ll impact those companies that aren’t heading the net 0.

Saw green peace trying to sue the ecb regarding nuclear for eg.

John whilst I agree that comment you are assuming they can bring someone in to do that and it would get it through. This isn’t bcn with shareholders that will fold, maxy henry is much higher than here on average, he’s not turning this over for 40-50% premium like bcn did. Think takeover decent way away from here

Morning John, yep and these aren’t investors that can get bullied by likes of a gf! I’d imagine they paid this price because other 2 investors have paid near or way over this already and not willing to give up a dilution on a depressed level as they know the money is needed for report.
Like you I’m still in red but I’m confident I get out of it, takeover is still possible yes but the price of it just shifted significantly and I’m not sure amg want to do this on their own. Maxy Henry isn’t here for a quick punt turnover at 50-100% premium he’s going to want significant more return on his money. I cannot see a takeover at these levels, see this more likely to hit 40p once next stage is done.

Is the mining. I get investors might want the jump and cash out a volatile market but 43% share capital sits with 3 cornerstone investors and then more with the board who also partook in raise. I think selling this on a short term bounce is mad but that’s markets.

Basically have a strategic partner with a processing facility paying to get dibs on an off-take agreement. This is exactly what we’ve been clamouring for and makes me extremely bullish again.

Interesting….bought amg many years ago and pretty well run company. They are in expansion mode and giving building processing plant in Germany this is shaping up extremely nicely. Looks like expect to be producing 20,000 tonnes q4 2023?

We know have 3 shareholders about 43% the company, And all have shown deep enough pockets and commitments. I did wonder if this being prepped for a bid but Amg basically just got a local off-take at an absolute bargain.

Finally coming to fruition, I’d imagine there’s a sizeable grant coming to help production and any purchase tonight will do extremely well on.

John my concern are not so much end product, getting to that point etc but I’m worried about the funding this year. If and it’s a big if this overriding recession comes from those that have predicted 10 of the last 2…q 3-4 stocks could get battered.
My concerns are it’s now March. Pea assessments done a long time ago now. The news flow is slow and poor.
There’s us a ton of esg stories out there from chevron saying returns for renewables need to be equal to current fuels.
It feels like longer range batteries are coming hence the secondary market for electric cars taken a battering.
You have tata threatening to leave the U.K. unless gets £500mn for battery plant here. You have orsted telling the govt it needs to subsidise wind farms.
Above all for us here with Germany they are responding to the us inflation act.
I just feel we have a 3-6 month runaway to get this right, get an agreement in place, funding on the table.
With the 2 individual holders now selling this on the cheap isn’t viable for du plesis.
So if he cut out to actually lead this into production?

The positive is the German govt is finally getting going and now we have 2 holders that can support a cap raise. Whilst it’s not quite m&g and ganfeng at least this has supported the price higher.
It still comes down to our board delivering eg they had better make something happen with this German govt proposal v the USA inflation act.

Well musicman it’s not really investing saying “I wish bought more” when it was lower…then questioning whether should buy more you’re just punting not investing. Investing is buying when you believe in the value and it’s lower, trading or punting is chasing moves.

Musicman if you believe in this you were supposed to average on way down…You average on way up if news or update warrants it. We’ve not had any news unless you believe it’s Germany outline v USA inflation act and huge subsidised incentives for evs with lithium on your doorstep (whole reason this was so popular was where it’s based).
That’s a good enough reason to add plus it being oversold, technically breaking out etc. BUT we’ve had no update and a 45% move this week! I know Aim shares move on little liquidity and someone knowing something however they still need to do a raise.

Now more than ever with Russia/China need homegrown resources, it’s worth owning for that and inflation act alone, I’d just like to see something come out first on that move.

Without an rns in coming days I’d harbour something completely from German rhetoric v the USA inflation act….can’t see anything else it’s not someone waking up to mining resources it’ll be in response to above whether just reaction or hopefully some partnership agreement reached due to the above…12 months+ too late…
