Quarrelling about what PF said at the AGM (Yeah, like the rest of his output panned out) is pointless. I wasn’t there for that reason. I imagine there were ‘positives’ he was happy to share and repeat - and details we wasn’t going to be drawn on. Quel surprise.

We’ll never know $/teu.

When/if the contract gets RNS’d we’ll be none the wiser on $/box - and the market discount against geography and historic number crunching short falls will have greater impact than dissecting the above anyway.

You think someone dumps 2+million shares in an attempt to provoke a Tema update?

Once you’ve read them all you realise there isn’t much point in taking subsequent RNS’s too seriously. It might as well be a complete fiction for all that’s been delivered in reality.

Tema might materialise before the AGM - no weight is given to “formality”, anymore than “cusp”. Talk is cheap. There’s been a lot of it and virtually all unreliable. And “cusp” was plural, as was contracts once upon a time.

I’d be reasonably confident to have a friendly (charitable) wager (it’s an annual thing) that we don’t see another MSC cusp converted this side of the AGM - if there’s anyone on the other side that feels differently. Might be fun.

‘Nobody commented on Africa. Has anyone, bar our dearly beloved Tosh, pressed PF on that semi- signed WASS opportunity? Or is everyone content to be dazzled in the bright lights of Tema.

Many, many opportunities, a whole raft, some much going on. Material advances a plenty.

But no, nil, material developments. Aside from a formality without timescale.

That’s interesting. Whilst PF didn’t want to put his “head in a noose” when asked what he’d like to see “come to fruition in the next six months”, he felt there were several more MSC’s that were “on the cusp”, that he wanted to get over the line.

Off the several, of course none did, despite pre Christmas confidence from some investors. And despite those words, it seems even bulls aren’t terribly confident that anything else will materialise (and we’re talking developments as opposed to advancements naturally) before the AGM?

Has anyone that PF still talks to, elicited any positive comment on the AWOL Africa contract.

I assume those moaning that they couldn’t buy last week can now, but aren’t.

There should be some numbers by end of January - but ‘no date in the official calendar as yet - I understand.

There’s a contract that should/could be formalised anytime. It’s three to five months overdue.

More realistically we believe everything agreed to enable signing, came together (tariffs) early Dec 2019.

Ps I love the way you’re happy to reach into the past for some selective numbers to illustrate progress - but it’s verboten if the same is done to illustrate previous failings.

And it’s not a vendetta. It’s just that my scepticism has been more justified than ‘bull’ optimism - for far too long.
