Might it be time for Sir John to "commission" a favourable news story in the FT? Then again, might we not have the political influence of the Serco's of this world?

Hopefully, we won't see the HARL sold off to Serco for £1.

Stokey12. Might UKEF be about to make a decision that will be very much in HARL's favour. Causing powerful people to put out a news story trying to pressure UKEF to reverse it's decision?

- Mining Lease decision within 3 month of mid February.

- Environmental approvals, after the lease

- Everything else to follow

I've just re-watched the last interview, and it's clear that other than a JV or Placing, there's nothing to see here until the month of April/May; when the Mining Licence should be approved.

Hebridean9. Isn't most of HARL's debt down to buying/installing cutting edge technology? So, isn't that really investing for the future?

My opinion, for what it's worth, is that we are deliberately being held down, but that can only last until either the refinancing is announced, or the £120M Falklands contract is signed.

So, that leaves the Axis of Evil about 3 to 6 weeks to have one last, determined, push to undermine confidence in the company.

I know nothing about the mining application process, but one might assume that satisfying the knac should have entailed more stringent requirements.

I'll admit to being greatly disappointed here. Who knew that being "shovel ready" was such a difficult process?

The only positive is that we just be close to getting the Mining Licence. I'm just hoping that we'll get a bumper RNS saying that our new CEO is pleased to announce it!

Methinks, greedy, heartless, people want to remove us from the equation here.

As for where the share price might be in a few months time? Well, a few days ago we didn't have first dabs on a £120M contract or confirmation of a £3M contract. So, it would appear that sooner, rather than later, we will see quantum leaps in the share price.

I was expecting this to start happening this week, but it seems that actual signing of the Falklands contract is what is going to be needed to get things moving here!

Just to add that the hydrogen can be a negative, as well as a golden positive, as it can turn metals brittle. But that's for another day.
