D3T. I consider myself very fortunate. I've got £40ks worth of shares in a small, producing, oil company. If market starts to collapse I'll sell those shares to mop-up all the bargins I can get. I can't see me driving prices in the commodities market, but every little helps.

Bakeryfish. After watching Putin's address to the Russian nation, in full, I'd be a bit concerned that me, you, and most other people on planet Earth might soon by toast - very, very, burnt toast!
As for my investment here? I hope that the Democrats see sense and pull back. Methinks that they are expecting a long, drawn-out, guerilla warfare campaign in the Ukraine. It doesn't look like Putin sees things that way.

Thenorthend. My take is that our success lives/dies on the Tories commitment to achieving post-Brexit independence/prosperity. If Boris really wants to break with the EU, then contracts will "find" their way to us. The Foreign & Commonwealth Office, et al, hold our, and the nation's, fate in it's hands. Might we be be better allocating resources to the FCO than DFID?

Dao. I've been in/around RBW for a few years now. I originally bought £30k's worth at 2.8p and am kicking myself for selling at 5p. I bought back in £60k with an average of 16.5p and won't even consider selling until we hit 35p. You can deramp all you like, but I'm expecting to make good money here. Just to add that I think the climate emergency is a hoax and that metals' mining is far from "green", but if the "elites" are forcing the World this way, then I'm going to take maximum advantage of it.

Dao. Now that Covid has moved from pandemic to endemic, the people ofBurundi want to resume life as normal. This includes earning good wages working for a "green" caring employer. Might the Burundi government see civil unrest unless it reopens all mines in the country, including ours?

Max. I agree. Bill seems certain that we can sell our DSO to those looking to improve their iron ore blend. It seems strange, to me, that he'd even have considered such a thing unless a potential customer had put the idea into his head. Here's hoping!

PortfolioPower. I've added £4.5k over the last two weeks but I have one concern, and that is that Harry has a habit of only coming to London when he's arranging a placing. That aside, I'm looking forward to my holding moving back into positive territory.

Max. IMO the price of Platinum drives this. They've kept a firm lid on the price of Gold/Silver, but my feeling has been that Platinum has been breaking away over the last few months. People's minds should start focusing on what inflation is doing to their standards of living now that Covid and the new "terrror" of Ukraine are out of the way. Hopefully, we'll witness a quantum leap in precious metal prices.

Here's my take on things. The global Energy Transition is going very badly wrong. Paid activists, and probably Judges, have been working against Western nations' energy security interests for many years. But HARL wins the JR because the UK is well and truly screwed if it fails.
I'm down about 65% on my original investment, but I'm not worried. The global energy crunch, and Brexit, tells me that HARL will come up trumps. And if doesn't, it won't matter, as the country will have been thrown to the dogs.

Bancal. I note that the Scientific American article is from 2009. Whereas, these days the magazine is full of stories on: gender issues, race , and how to spot "fake" right-wing news. It's a pity as it used to concentrate on real science.

Young people have been "educated" into believing in a Climate Emergency. I'm hoping that they will now start asking searching questions about the the stastical data and computer models used to justify such an emergency, now that the costs of the energy transition will really start hurting them.

D3T. I don't know why anyone believed Russia would attack this Wednesday. When Putin took the Crimea, the thousands of "Intelligence" analysts employed, the World over, at about £100k a year each missed it. Yet the same people confidently tell us that they now know Putin's every move! They are likely now all expecting a good bonus in their pay packets and nothing has actually happened.
Methinks that when Vlad invades, just about anywhere - unless it's here in the UK, we, and the BBC, will be the last to know about it.
