As a longterm-ish I3E holder I've experienced them taking a bite, and missing, the Serenity cherry. Some believe that we lost out back then because we drilled too close to edge of the possible discovery in order to keep the North Sea Transition Authority (previously the OGA) happy. The OGA were pushing maximum economic recovery back then and may have caused us to miss the target. I have to add the others believe that greedy corporate shareholders may have also forced Graham's and Majid's hands.

Anyway, hopefully, there will be more scope to aim for the centre of the target this time around.

For what it's worth, I reckon Bill has played this wrong. He's clearly going to try and entice new shareholders off the back of the "potential" of our Mexican assets. Yet in a few short weeks we could looking at 1.2p, plus, after bumper EH results. That is providing we didn't drill 18, or so, holes in nothing more valuable than sand and dust.
I see no logic to wasting, IMO, time/money/resources in a non event. I live in London and chose not to attend as I assumed, as appears correct, that there is nothing new to see/hear. That said, I'm still expecting to see good things happen here.
