speadymeadie. I'm hoping that the price of gold will soon start going through the roof. That should secure all necessary funding, and all will be well. I bought my shares with the intention of holding for at least 2 years, maybe forever. So bumps along the road don't bother me. I'm just wary of global sink holes.

lebugue-addick. I don't make you wrong, but we might be entering a global liquidity crisis. Money in the bank gets you through hard times, even if the final returns are lower than one would like to receive. So yes, all being well, we'll do much better in years ahead, providing we stay solvent.

I'm new-ish, and a small holder here. However, that said, I would have preferred SD to have said that the outcome is bad in the short-term, but he'll do everything possible to ensure a better medium/longt-term outcome for shareholders. I don't hold with talking-up bad outcomes. Isn't it best to call things for what they are and get on with things?

Normally, it's no news or bad news on Friday. I'm interested in seeing if LC actually releases an RNS today - a positive one - after somebody bought 1.5M shares yesterday. Here's hoping!

Steveiom. Isn't it more likely that the CCP will start placing sanctions upon the western nations via embargoes on "Green" tech and not the other way around?
After China successfully completes its invasion of Taiwan it will control 80% of silicon chip production. Add to that that it processes nigh-on all Rare Earth metals and produces most of the solar panels, and you can see that the Western "elites" Energy Transition can be stopped before it has gotten started.
The war in Ukraine has seen all of Russia's resources being allocated to China/India.
Pelosi's visit is the excuse for invasion of Taiwan. One might think that Biden/Pelosi/the bulk of Wall Street, Prince Charles, etc, have already decided that the world belongs to China.

Apologies for my long-winded rant, but Australia will likely continue selling its resources to China because the Energy Transition leaves the Western nations no other choice, apart from global thermonuclear war.

The U.S. Speaker,Nancy Pelosi, is likely going to visit Taiwan in order to take the eyes of the world away from the possible insider dealing fortune being amassed by her husband.
Will this trigger World War Three? Possibly.
However, my money is on the Chinese stopping exporting processed Rare Earth metals to the Western nations as a form of punishment?
Might such action be good or bad for our share price? I think we are going to soon find out.

mornington-oz. Unfortunately, the DVRG shares I have in my ISA cost me 35p per share, but, fortunately, the rest of my shares are in profit. I purchased my ISA shares on the hope/expectation of receiving dividends in later years, so, for me, all is fine. 60p seems like a big ask, but I'm hoping to see 160p within two years, global recession or not. That said, I don't have the financial nouse to even value a share. I just go on gut instinct, and my gut's telling me that the days of indigestion are over here.
