Concentrating on the GRS makes perfect sense. It might be difficult to drill, but it should be where the money is. Everything can follow a mega discovery.
As for acquiring assets in South Africa. The country is on its knees. So, it makes sense to exploit the situation to our advantage.

My apologies for being negative, but only the other day Rod McIllree said we'd receive news as and when tasks were completed. We'll how does his statement stand against this RNS? I can wait if it's Q1 2024 for gold, but I'd like a bit of clarity on the Native Title negotiations.

When BT arrived on the scene people on this board couldn't get enough of him with his upbeat salesman's enthusiasm - a breath of fresh air from the long-winded, technical, methodical, Mike Moles. BT hasn't done much wrong - he/we have just been unlucky. If the Great Red Spot hadn't been 3 smaller spots we'd have all been laughing to the bank and BT would have been vaunted as the greatest CEO on AIM.
My concern is why he didn't stick with drilling the GRS and get the job done - providing, of course, that there is actually any ore to discover!

Xenor. I'm of the opinion that many things, like the IM appeal, are funded by the Open Society Fundation. Meaning there will be unlimited funds for further appeals. IMO there appears to be a Bond villan-esq type character out there, who wants to fashion the world to his utopian ideals. But then, being one quickly labelled a "conspiracy theorist", I'd think that, wouldn't I?
That said, in a very uncertain world, gas security should override any NGO's or "well meaning" charity's objections!

I would have thought that due to the rapid decrease in natural gas prices, there would be rigs a plenty.
