Stokey. Might are Armed-Forces have two four recruitment problems:

1. Woke recruitment ads.

2. The very real sense they we are going to go to war against an adversary able to fight back on equal terms.

3 & 4. Poor pay and conditions.

We need to start building thousands of Drones (sea and air) and fast!

Remote operated heavy machine guns appear to have been very effective in the Russo-Ukrainian War.

My concern for HARL is that the world might no longer need Aircraft Carriers, and their support ships! Although, we might see another battle in the Falklands quite soon.

Withdrawal of AGM Resolutions

The Board of Europa announces that it has decided to withdraw Resolutions 3, 4, 7 and 8 from the agenda of the annual general meeting ("AGM") of the Company's shareholders, to be held at The Hellenic Centre, 16-18 Paddington Street, London W1U 5AS at 11.00 a.m. (UK time) this morning.

Resolution 3 was to re-elect Mr Stephen Williams as a director, and resolution 4 to re-elect Mr Simon Oddie as a director. These directors were retiring under the one-third rotation provision of the Company's articles of association. Following consultations with shareholders, these directors have withdrawn their candidacy for re-election, and the Board has agreed to withdraw these resolutions. Consequently, Messrs Oddie and Williams will no longer be directors of the Company at the close of the AGM.

Resolution 7 proposed the authority to allot equity securities on a pre-emptive basis with adjustments to statutory pre-emption requirements to deal with fractional entitlements and overseas legal requirements. Resolution 8 proposed the authority to allot equity securities for cash on a non-pre-emptive basis up to a maximum nominal value of 10 per cent of the issued share capital. The Board proposed these special resolutions as it considered the flexibility afforded by these authorities to be in the best interests of the Company

Xenon. Won't one more "significant" contract win put the Market's nerves to rest?

Evil forces are likely holding the share price down, in what appears to be a nonsensical ploy to claw back the shares the PIs managed to buy due to stokey's keen eye.

A message for those who might be planning their strategy around the comments of LTHs on BBs. Most of us LTHs are not for turning. One day or another you are going to be forced to buy back in or be left standing. The choice is yours, my elitist old sons!

Hi TDF. Didn't Arun answer a question relating to the possible slippage of the finance deal into Q1 of 2024 by stating that, all being well, it won't slip into Q1 of the 2024/25 Financial Year?

That, to me, was a Civil Servant's answer. There being absolutely no need to mention the 2024/25 Financial Year, unless of course, there is a more than reasonable chance of it actually happening!

But then, that's just me. I won't lose sleep over it. And I won't be surprised if we don't seal the deal until Apr, May, or Jun of next year.

Everything comes to those that are able to wait, barring Acts of God.

I agreed that 01:01:10 is the relevant section, with JW saying "One for you, Arun. The credit facility deadline has moved a number of times this year. Is there still a risk that it could slide into Q1 of 2024?".

To which Arun concludes with the words "On balance I do think that we are in a fairly good wicket. Having said that, this is the government we are talking about, a government process. We need to ultimately bring together a number of counter-parties that include three to four banks and the UK government. So whilst I think that it is a difficult process. It is certainly achievable by the end of the Financial Year, if not before."

I'd say that technically I might be wrong, but Arun has clearly left the door open for the next Fin. Year.

Sorry TDF. I make you wrong on this, because I went back and listened to most of the presentation two weeks ago. My interest was in JW's comment about a 26, or it might have been 30, boat contract, that I cannot find. What I definitely did hear was Arun say "possibly not by the end of the financial year" for refinancing.

But there is only one way of proving this, so either later today or early tomorrow I'll post his comment verbatim.

If I turn out wrong, I'll apologize for misleading the BB. No doubt, you'll do the same?!?

Citizenlane. I'm pretty sure that Arun said that refinancing might not be concluded this financial year. I'm expecting another significant contract win before we see refinancing.

So, if we are unlucky, we might not see £1.20, and above, until May/June next year

Stokey. The Russians have been fighting off drone ships for well over a year in the Crimea. That's why Putin stopped grain/fertilizer leaving the port of Odessa. They/we were using commercial ship traffic as radar cover!
