One of my favourite moments of the last few weeks , although a little childish and unfair on the NEX investors was seeing the following apology from a poster who quite obviously believes his own opinion is reality and will try and twist the facts out there just to gain a little bit of that lost credibility back.
“@paddyboy....its all my fault. I looked at EUA on @guitarmans recommendation and decided that it was a share pump. I gave my views and the data to back it up and generated lots of hate that has now spilled over here. Happily the posters there are mostly morons (though some bright people) an think that they will troll us because I said something they did not like.
I apologise.”
Must have been painful for someone with a narcissistic personality disorder to openly apologise for their error of judgement.
I think you need to try and let it go and move on for your own mental health.
Forget about what you believe is our mistake and enjoy your own investment choices.
We are all good here thanks.
This was not put together by me but i thought it was worth re posting as Rowka's post are all gone now.
To all the new investors that have recently arrived, welcome, here is a starter pack

Just three occasions this year where the involved released a statement confirming no reasons known for the rises.
Eurasia Mining PLC 12 October 2020
"Eurasia Mining plc notes the recent significant rise in the Company's share price.
There have been no new developments requiring formal notification beyond those included in the Company's announcement of interim results on 30 September 2020."

No new developments requiring formal notification...
Plenty of reasons for the rise though and one of these will be the expected sale price.
If the SP had reached or was very close to the expected sale price then surely we would see the "no known reasons" line???
To the ones that sold earlier.
Cheers, thought I was gonna have to top up nearer 40p.

The PME is the result of the behavior and not the cause.
@cj62 it’s a public forum.
If you have to ask yourself things then why don’t you start with this .... why are you bothering to reply to someone asking for assistance with a snipey comment.
There’s a wealth of information on here and so many helpful LTH’s that do point not too experienced members (like myself) in the right direction.
Why be so bitter?
Thanks again aston, My play money is kept seperate from my life money and I don't have enough play money to do it that way.
Now if I were to throw the kitchen sink at it then I could but at the moment in this climate I am finding that being able to wash my hands is far more important so the sink stays.
Dr I believe the stock and share ISA account with HL is the one that is CGT free. Its the fund and share that I am in that would require I give a chunk over to the taxman.
Hello,
I'm reasonably new to this and have been topping up my shares here for the last few months.
I made the mistake of using a fund and share account with HL and am now trying to work out the best way to switch to a stock and share account to try and save on capital gains tax.
I understand I have to sell my shares first(which although its risky if its a quick i can live with a few less shares).
Once I sell these shares can I transfer instantly and then buy straight away or will it take a day or two(too risky imo)?
If I had the funds I would just buy the same amount and then sell the original(in fact if I had the funds I would put twice as much in).
Any advice on the procedure will be greatfully recieved.
Cheers.
