Avacta would be mad to close the door on Medusa. Human slavery links aside, they have capacity. Give them a test they can flog.

So Avacta is the sovereign test, but we’ve had to go overseas to validate. We’ve had to get Mologic in to get the test over the line but we’re still banging the NDA drum. The test is for low and middle income countries. The UK govt aren’t interested.

This seems like a big move. Undoubtedly flogging the stockpiles of Innova tests to as many workplaces as possible. Are they confident the holy grail is coming soon?

We all know the SP will drop if Avacta aren’t named on the latest tender. Yeah we know there’s a bigger picture but the market isn’t rational. I’d like to think Sir Al is preparing a transformational TU for us, but perhaps that’s too optimistic.

I don’t think we are part of the tender, but I do believe we are part of a bigger government sovereign test. I think the trading update will be released to coincide with the winners of the tender being released, cushioning the blow.
