Zz, agree testing will be required for a long time. I think whether Avactas test is ignored or not comes down to when our test arrives. Our Chinese friends will be manufacturing millions of tests for Innova, supply won’t be an issue. The media have failed to call out the Chinese/British test and the results have also been largely accepted? Incentive for the govt to change is what? I’m trying to be level headed, although I have been a lot more negative recently. I just think our piece of the pie is diminishing.

Why is increased lighthouse capacity a good thing for Avacta? The govt are pushing swab tests with rapid turnarounds. I fail to see any positive link between govt and Avacta.

Point me in the direction of Avacta seeking MHRA approval please?

You have to have a test to trial it. We are nowhere near the govts thoughts anymore, and I truly believe we were ie holy grail. No way on Earth they give a demo for the Innova test to then buy Avacta 2 weeks later. Let’s hope Als commercial discussions elsewhere live up to expectation.

According to govt ‘sources’ the only reason the UK is looking at LFTs is because of Cummings and the man is about to Foxtrot Oscar. My faith has been tested but I trust Al and Avacta. This shambles of a govt better not let us down!

It’s rational when you think of the deadlines we were given. The vaccine has just reduced the size of the cake and delays to market are reducing Avactas slice. Yes this will do well but do we honestly believe the govt are going to roll out the Innova test and give us thickos instructions and 3 word slogans on how to do the test only to roll out another test with more instructions and slogans for them to think up.

Long enough until Innova make 200 million more and the govt order again from their trusted supplier. With any luck, Al will have a conservatory built on that new gaff of his ready for the summer.

We’re not on the list. One million percent. There would be huge buys flying in today as the govt give the nod to their mates. Avacta would not have felt the need to update us today if good news was a day away. Our wait goes on.

Everyone in the city to be tested. The govt need to make a success of this for an easier route to market for Avacta, no pressure. Confident in Avactas test but losing faith with the process. Are we sure Sir Al isn’t friends with Cummings?

Being negative, no confirmation of tech transfer completion so Avacta won’t have been part of this. Being positive, we will be bumped to the front of the queue of each testing site when the pilot batch is ready.
