Interesting article, I never got too excited or read much into Charley Farley buying a paltry £10k worth in September last year. Imagine the scene around the dining table......I need to make a statement here, show some support to the joe soaps and buy a lot of shares, lets go for £250k! Mmmmmm Oh f*ck it, how much is in the cookie jar, 10 grand that will do. Remember at the time there were still a few who thought the sun shone out of his ars*e
Yes tories , don’t you just love the f*ckers.....not. They will get their return in taxes without any outlay. Once brexit is done and dusted hopefully the feckers who put them in will kick the feckers out. I wouldn’t be surprised if the vote was rigged.
RS.......total w*nker. Him along with CF and the rest of the board will hopefully get their come uppance down the line through legal action.
Lovely words Fred, I had been following the project since 2015 and bought in after visiting site the first week of construction early February 2017 when Woodsmith was known as Doves Nest Farm, thought what a great project, in the North and on my doorstep and I could/wanted to invest in it. I honestly thought the £1 club was a stretch and was thinking if I doubled my 33p average plus an annual dividend that would be good for me and my family and would benefit lots of other people in the area and the country as a whole. You can understand how we all went for it reading: inhttps://siriusminerals.com/about-us/vision-and-values/
I bought in at 20p and 15p offers and thereafter to bring my average down to 14p/100k shares, gutted we aren’t going to benefit....only the big boys. I made a decision a while back to let it ride (hopeful more than anything that the likes of me were still going to be involved) and will see if the 5.5p is improved upon. I don’t profess to be clever and know how the markets work but looking back at some of the blurb on the Sirius website over the years and who wouldn’t buy in to it? That’s me done for posting now and I will never buy another share as long as I live. For those of you who do, good luck as sometimes this is what you need more than anything else. All the very best to all genuine holders ??
Well done, I was in it for the long term you clown
What a crock of sh*t, I for one won’t forget in a hurry. Hopefully by the next election comes around there will be a credible opposition to get the f***ing Tories out also. Has anyone trawled through the 500 page prospectus and found where it advises to take financial advice and take no notice to all the bullsh*t about the project and how successful it was going to be?
Make a donation, no matter how small. You can see how much work as gone into it on our behalf
Don’t forget how many quickfeets we have had on here, take no notice, dungeon and sweatpants spring to mind.
Yes and your thong ??

Apologies if someone has already stated voting system with the Halifax:
I posted last week regarding voting by phone and the guy from the Halifax mentioned I would also get something in the post, I hadn’t received anything so checked back in with them just now and they have confirmed they had taken my NO vote over the phone last week and the letter would just be confirming that there was a vote coming up and how to vote. They are sending the letters out in blocks so hopefully all invested will get them in a timely manner. My No vote is now in a nominee account however I got the impression it will be classed as a single vote and not grouped with all the others. The guy mentioned there has been a lot of communication over Sirius and he did ask me what my thoughts were and how it was going to pan out, hopefully it will all come out in the wash.......my biggest gripe has been the 15p open offer when it appears AAL were already in discussions with the Sirius board. All NO’s make sure you vote so we don’t get shafted again, don’t be complacent and think a NO vote is a shoe in and you don’t have to bother. There is a better offer for our shares out there / someone will come in to finish the project and hopefully have a clear out at senior management level and I for one don’t want to sell my shares and would rather continue to be invested in this project, I have also stated through the link how much more I would invest to keep “most” of it in our hands.

The shenanigans still going on...share price drop on the back of them knowing it will be a no vote? Why buy in if it’s going into liquidation. Canvassing shareholders. The tories couldn’t give a sh*te about this project. Never mind it’s business it f*cking stinks. Lots of people sat in basements in sweatpants happy to see people losing there money, why don’t you start trolling each other. Not long now tho, the worry and the wait is nearly over and I along with a lot of others would rather lose the lot than get the p*ss took out of us again.....at least we can control that.....and you never know.
I didn’t say I had voted, the Halifax asked and I told them over the phone, they are sending voting form out also, my question was what response are other people getting back from The Halifax? seemed strange that they asked me over phone which we i was going
100,000 shares
Just spoken to the Halifax, they are sending me something by post to vote, however also asked me over the phone and I stated no vote. The guy then said they will await my returned postal vote however have comments on the system which way I have voted. Anyone else advise on what they have been told?
Are you CF?
Because that’s what organisations like them do to the likes of us, there is a broad spectrum of people from different backgrounds who have invested in this, some clever people (I don’t class myself as one) who know how the system works to a degree and they have still had their fingers burned. I have always been a bit cynical about big business but this whole process has definitely opened my eyes to how the faceless twats couldn’t give a ****e as long as they feather their own nests and while I am on.......f*ck the tories an all, northern powerhouse more like Tory sh*thouse. I invested £14k and it’s been worrying enough, I hope one way or another we get it back in other ways. Don’t bottle your feelings up if it seems like it’s the end of the world, talk to someone as it’s always better to, I think we will all be a bit wiser all 85,000ish of us. And folks that’s my last ever post folks, honest. All the best
The thing that really gets my goat is the issues at 20p then 15p, how many of us thought ‘support the project and reduce our average’ . I was on site before construction started.....it was still Doves Nest Farm then, then two portakabins for NMC & Collins Earthworks. This is the first and last share I ever invest in and I am going to let it ride even if I finish up with sweet Fanny Adam. I will not miss the shorters, derampers and outright tankers.
