Hi Clued , Freetrade is an APP based Broker who do not charge a deal fee, . As with most things nothing in life is truly Free. So lets say the spread shows. 1p - 1.35p . If you are with Freetrade when you sell it normally goes through at the lowest part of the BID and same with the ASK - you pay the full amount, generally with a decent Broker you get in the Middle, now perhaps buying 2000 -3000 shares at a very low SP might save you £6 , but you loose out when you sell imo. The trades are often bunched together, and when there is not much buying suddenly they appear, easy for MMs to give the impression of price movement, or anyone else for that matter.
