I see Maven Partners sold 1 mio of their holding , probably hit a threshold , they still own 2.6 %. Having owned these for 20 years I had no idea HDD institutional holdings were so high , around 50% ! That's unusual for an AIM stock as normally retail would own a much larger portion...

Another good reason to keep a tight hold !

IMV I wouldn't want to be out of silver for the next 6 months , the old high of $50 is equiv to $200 today and back then it didn't have all other factors behind it.

Each to his own though, and its never wrong to take a profit ...

Read an in depth piece by the 'Oak Bloke' on his substack , doubting the general view that we are in an oil glut. Only a matter of time till oil joins the commodity boom IMV ...

You would think HDD would be on a New Year penny share tip list somewhere ? Also wouldn't rule out a bid , in my experience they tend to wait till the tech company has turned the corner to profit before they strike, which would fit...

Either way, i'm in profit for the first time in eons ! Long may it continue and give us all a happy new year!!

TBH ive been following silver for ages and listened to so many analysts I cant remember the particular one but it stuck in my memory , certainly easily mineable deposits have become depleted and yields have fallen in all producing mines which points to less of a supply being available going forward.

Could also be an expectation of a surge in oil and gas prices as they join the commodity boom fuelled by an insatiable demand for energy courtesy of AI . Alex Krainer, Rick Rule and several other well known analysts are certainly predicting this .

Unlike gold , silver is actually running out in the earths crust, even at the few big silver mines left the yield is not what it was decades ago , Total demand has outstripped supply for 6 years just and demand is about to rise . Much of the desperate play to suppress the silver price with paper contracts isnt actually about price its about supply . Military , industrial, AI data centres all point to massive demand (let alone if the public suddenly decide to buy ) just as the supply looks doubtful .

Likewise been here from about then , lost most of my original investment at one point after the share collapse and do I remember a consolidation ? Luckily never lost faith in the technology so I averaged down quite a bit over the last 18 months, still need 16p to break even though !!

Only 78 mio shares in issue , this could really motor now especially with any further orders!!

I saw a good write up from an on line tipster 'The Oak Bloke' , its very detailed , I think he has a good following so should help .

IMV this has only just begun , silver price even more than gold has been heavily manipulated for decades , i think those days are over .

A lot of weak hands jumped in recently and have all jumped out across the metals sector at the first sign of a sell off , no surprise really given the run . Probably needed before it moves higher.

I noticed this morning SQZ did get a great write up from 'The Oak Bloke ' as he calls himself , he's a tipster in the oil market and has a bit of a following .Its on his substack which you can access for free , so that may have helped , worth a read .

GSF must be firmly in play now so I cant see RM selling , I reckon they will just wait for the next bit of corporate action either from them or another entity .

Directors not really impressive , only 3 bothered to turn out for the presentation , some dont have much skin in the game either , on top of that if they have to pay to get a strategy from Alexa, what are they paid for ?

However as the Oak man said, RM probably not the answer either . At least the poison pill is gone as I think the RM move puts GS in to play here, if it wasn't already ......

I agree a blocked straits of Hormuz not an easy decision for Iran. It would hurt heir biggest customer , China also their one of their biggest allies .
