Sorry, I meant to say that airlines are price takers ... so to absorb these extra costs and inflation is much more difficult for them...Skyscanner etc has made airline seats into commodities...race to the bottom.

All true, but companies like ASOS are price setters and can absorb these costs better than most.

Look at airlines, which are bullish at the moment...oil is $90 a barrell with higher interest % on billions of legacy debt. ASOS etc is a much safer proposition right now.

ASOS could always take advantage of reduced rents and diversify into bricks and mortar..but right now I wouldn't want to have bricks and mortar Estate with 200% increases in energy bills.

The key thing is the market liked Amazon adding significant % increases to their prime membership. Maybe this would give ASOS impetus to do the same and boost margins.

All - some good news. From summer this year, airlines in Europe have to fly their airport slots at least six days out of seven or lose them. So expect significant extra capacity to come back as airlines fly less passenger % but more cargo % to keep the slots, particularly to the USA, this will reduce air freight costs. A significant tailwind

The cash is flat. Q3 trading update was 700m including loans and Q4 is 530m cash plus 170 loans. This puts the cash flow concerns to bed.

You also have to consider the brand goodwill, in excess of the equity. The brand goodwill is of course open to debate.

I’m really pleased the USA markets are closed tomorrow...will give us a chance to break through 165 properly and the head towards 180 and beyond. This pandemic is clearly coming to an end now.

Number 57 most shorted company in the UK....hardly a concern. Whilst short-tracker measures declared positions above 0.5%, we could assume that other companies have a comparable level of undeclared. This is looking very positive for tomorrow.

This is the only horse to back right now. Profit warnings from BOO and ASOS...nothing from THG. Watch the SP surge when we smash it in Jan. I wouldn't want to be standing on the sidelines in Jan. Returns shouldn't be an issue either....you don't return protein pills if the Xmas party is cancelled
