Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hi Jiffy - sorry, maybe came across wrong. I was not talking about ordinary buying/selling of shares; I was implying, IMO, there is no outright buyer for Havieron or GGP; hence why I asterisks ** and commented seperately after them.
Apologies if it came across incorrectly.
Rubic- why just NCM ? What about Barrick, Newmont, Franco-N, or even Rio or BHP ??? do you think these big guys have completely taken their eyes off the game and don't know what Havieron could turn into? So would they not be interested?
And also do you think Newcrest will also think these companies and others take no notice of the results at Havieron?
If you're in the mining game, then you know what your competitors are up to, (maybe before) but as soon as any news is released.
So if the manipulation is true then why just NCM ? Oh wait, they've bought millions and millions of GGP shares in the sly, without any formal approvals or governance. How would that look when it comes out in public "yeah, we bought up our JV partners shares so we could stiff them over for a takeover"
That will certainly not look good for a company pushing ESG values and who also are working within a social framework that satisfies the Martu people, who oversee the historic/traditional rights to the land.
Spy, as you state "another" then it's obvious we are getting quite used to it.
I'm a complete amatuer at investing but in my opinion and from info I've read and learned over the past year and half, then last year the daily volume of share trading was considerably high and (as we all know) there was much volatility in the SP with the rollout of great results, the POG and of course the two big tranches of share buying by the GDXJ, which probably dragged in other buyers.
Over that period the MMs couldn't quite control the volatility of the SP because the volumes bought and sold could easily be 60-90+ million some days, affecting the SP by a good few percent on a daily, bi daily, tri daily or weekly basis.
The shorters couldn't get a decent foothold and of course (as alleged by many on social media) then their mates the MM's couldn't help them either.
Now there's a reasonable base price of between 16-18p then the share can be controlled more finely to suit the needs of the bigger boys who need the small movements on a daily or weekly basis.
This thinking has nothing to do with control for a buyer waiting in the wings**, it's simply to do with shorters trading to make their daily/weekly profits and being 'alledgedely' helped by the MM's - of course all in my own opinion.
**IMO then there is no 'buyer' on the sidelines; as I mentioned in a post a few weeks back:-
Let's not forget Shaun has put together a formidable experienced team which is not just forward thinking to where he wants the company to go; it is also there to provide the expertise when working with NCM on the JV’s.
IMO then Shaun has no intention of being mugged off, especially for the silly price of 28p as someone mentioned earlier today, and Newcrest will be happy with their 75%, knowing it feeds Telfer for many, many years to come.
Totally agreed Paddy - Another confident interview by Shaun. It's easy to understand his plans and strategy on where he wants Greatland to be positioned; and also to be recognised as a developer and miner progressing forward to the future. He also comments on about putting skin in the game (after being questioned); so maybe that should silence some of the whingers on here.
In my opinion, we are in safe hands.
Interview link below; and Shaun up first (after introduction) so no need for searching through.

Hi SaS, thanks for the reply; any chance you know today's ratio, please.
I have previously applied for L2 several time with IG, but for some reason I didn't get it, and never bothered chasing them up. I now have the application for DMA access downloaded but can't run it on my works laptop; but getting my old desktop fired up and upgraded over the next few days, so hopefully I'll be set by the weekend.
Hope the golf went okay.
Hi Djf - do you use the red 'reply' link at the bottom and in right hand corner just outside of the last reply in a thread ?
At present then instead of replying in the current thread then every reply you do creates a complete new thread on the board for the previous thread (you intended to post in).
There is two RE:Re- new acquisition threads and the original 'NCM - new acquisition.' on the board and it just causes confusion with multiple threads spawned from the original thread.
Or is there a problem with your device phone/PC ?
If you click on the red reply button at the bottom right corner then it creates a new message space, where you type in your reply and then click on the red 'Post Message' button, just outside on bottom left hand corner. you don;t have to edit or change anything else.
SaS - Maybe you missed my earlier post, but could you confirm what your deleted post was (from last night).
I thought the post said something like this " there were 30m buys against 6m sells but we went down 0.3%" ?
(just for clarification)
Probably a complete bunch of strangers to all members on this board but in the link below there are men who are working hard at Havieron to eventually get the ore out the ground and to Telfer, and get you value on your GGP shares:-

Canary - I'm not upset. Just to make a 1 year comparison between a company that has revenue and a company that does not is not really a comparison. Try a 2 year comparison or try comparing with other juniors explorers or miners.
Although NCM and GGP have the JV's together their share prices are not intrinsically linked.
In my opinion and probably most others on here then the GGP share has the possibility of multi bagging from here over the next few years but this will not be the same for NCM SP (just with Havieron). That is why the people on here have invested/or have more invested in GGP and not NCM.
Compare the charts in 3 years time and see if they are mirrored.
Can you expand on why GGP should mirror NCM? Actually don't bother. You are comparing a junior explorer to the largest gold miner in Australia, a multi billion dollar company with gold producing mines, projects in different countries and importantly have revenue !!
Your post is totally futile, with no researched information other than comparing line charts, which could probably also be compared with other miners or junior explorers; and I suggest other posters just ignore this thread and don't respond any further.
Hi Sanibel - do you use the red 'reply' link at the bottom and in right hand corner just outside of the last reply in a thread ? Instead of replaying in the current thread then every reply you do creates a complete new thread on the board for the previous thread (you intended to post in).
Or is it a problem with your device ?
Bamps - totally agree that everyone should take others calculations as a guestimate; the ones I posted earlier are just basic but done for me taking into account the true share amount and the AISC; all total conjecture and certainly not investment advice.
Anyway, good to see you back posting.
