Well, I hope you are right. I really do. If this first tranche gets paid out, I will have much more confidence in them making good on what they say!
I’m 25% happy. I have a quarter of my shares placed on limit within that first phase but couldn’t get the other 75% transferred as they were refused due to the JP suspension. So it seems a little unfair that I wanted to offload all, but couldn’t. Not sure they can call it an initial 60 day window when it was suspended for most of that. Call me a cynic, but I can’t help wondering if the suspension was deliberate to stop a wave of interest they couldn’t honour. They have an obligation to treat all shareholders fairly, which this doesn’t really feel like they are.
I’m still very worried about this. Not only for the 75% I didn’t get transferred. I guess we wait and see (again). At least they provided an update.
Some of the comments on that twitter post are somewhat amusing though….
Also not funny considering the money I’ve (stupidly) wrapped up in them. What a farce though.
Just outstanding. Create a bit of news that news is coming, but ‘forget’ to actually publish the news.
I’m intrigued. Has anyone actually counted the number of times they’ve said they’ll do something then haven’t? There’s a fine line between incompetence and misleading/fraud. Not saying any of their actions are deliberate, but if I had a spectrum showing each end of the incompetence/deception scale, I’d certainly put them in Ozark territory 🙄
Yeh it’s difficult to feel ‘excited’ about a journey, when you’ve had a bag thrown over your head, your hands tied behind your back and have been thrown in the boot of the car.
In what must be an environment where they are struggling to find news, today they posted on X that there will be ‘exciting’ news on the next stage of their journey. But you have to wait till Monday. You have to love a bit of news about the news.

OBNC - Yep I got the same response from Jarvis / Sharedeal Active. It's a pain as the transfer will take some time and i'm doubting it will get done in time to take advantage of the first 60 day period (if that does indeed happen). Very frustrated with this.
Also, as Aidan says, you will need to call II to place your lint order. If they do execute, I don’t expect the first tranche to do so before 8/9 april
Re list not delist!
I have shares held in a trading account with II and have placed a limit sell order at 1.50.
I have a horrible sense your SIPP holdings are at the mercy of Tintra ls future success. They can’t be transferred out of the SIPP, so they will just sit there and you’ll need to hope they delist in the future.
I'm told they are legally obliged to transfer out of ISA within 30 days of de-listing. According to my count (from 8th Jan), that should happen today or tomorrow. So, it should be automatic, but Barclays seem somewhat slow sometimes!
@OBNC
Below is the corporate action message in Smart Investor. You can pretty quickly open an Investment Account if you already have an ISA (I did it in about 20 minutes). Seems if you don't, they will attempt to Certificate (which is actually what I think they will need to do with the wife's ones anyway). You can try this email: investmentclientrelations@barclays.com

Tintra PLC
DELISTING
Tintra PLC delisted from the Alternative Investment Market (AIM). The delisting is effective from 8th January 2024.
What this means for you:
If you hold the investment in an ISA, regulations require that we remove this within 30 days of the delisting.
1. If you have an Investment Account with us we will move your holding to this account
2. If you do not, we will re-register your holding on to a certificate in your own name (provided this is available). By moving it out of your ISA the shares no longer benefit from being in an ISA wrapper
You may be able to sell your investment via an off exchange venue, if this is available. Further information may be obtained from the company directly. You will need to receive a certificate to do this. To check if a certificate is available, call us on 0800 279 3667* or if calling outside the UK+44 141 352 3919. If it is available, we can request one on your behalf.
If you hold this investment in a SIPP, pension regulations prevent the assets from being removed from the SIPP. Your only option to remove this holding would be to transfer part or all of your pension to a specialist SIPP provider that will accept unlisted assets.
If the delisted holding remains in your portfolio, it will show the last traded price and will continue to be included in the calculation of your monthly fee.
@OBNC - I will keep you updated.
I had a brief chat with Barclays earlier. The guy I spoke to said they don't usually deal in MBF's, but I mentioned if they didn't then they would need to certificate the shares so I could transfer to a broker. AT this point he said that there may be a way of doing it once the shares had transferred from the ISA to the standard trading account. They are still sitting in the ISA at the moment (they have 30 days to move them), so I am guessing they will be moved in teh next couple of days and then I'll have a specific chat with them and update you. Cheers
So as I read that, they will group all orders and execute them together after a 60 day period at the £1.50 price, subject to having enough funds to do so. Or you can wait and they will provide another 90 day grouping period after that (so will be 5 months out from now before the next is converted).
The article reads well. The problem is the talk has always been good but the walk has seldom been the same. I'm already on the edge of a health issue with the money I have in and the unknowing ahead. I'll put myself in the exit now category and hope that does actually come off, but good luck to those that wait it out too :)
Mine's in. It's another question if it will execute lol. Now I have to figure how to get rid of those I have in Barclays Smart Investor
Been on hold whilst they place order for 20 mins. Seems it's more complex than putting in numbers and clicking a button. must be using carrier pigeons.
