Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
I generally dont believe any of the conspiracy theories. MMs play the market in a macro way, PIs play it in a micro way.
I think 10mil shares traded today, and an average of 5mil per day for the last month suggests they do not need to play any games? I suspect a truer midprice is currently 0.525, but the buying has been pretty steady so not sure what your post is about!
Give it a month I reckon.
I don't see why a draw down facility, tied to a discount of avg share price, where both parties have to agree, couldn't be put in place. 10mil may be excessive, but a largish number can certainly work. Given we are valued 4.4mil on air at the moment, there is certainly some value to a lender, Helium or otherwise, to make such a deal with a few shares given up front as a bonus.
I expect the ramping crew to arrive after news. The big question I have is how much financing they manage to raise. A board like this my be able to negotiate a lot of money in loan notes to draw down on for investing. A large part of me hopea they get a good deal for £10mil from Helium. That would bring the ramp crew in hard.
We had a quite narrow spread to open, so most of this is just the initial drop. The spread remains narrow, which to me suggests MMs are happy with avg volumes and will let price so its own thing.
Hoping to keep the full 5mil unt 2015 finals results at least. Then depending on revenue I may let it ride or ditch. If this goes well it has the potential to be really big in 5 years time.
I have a soft spot for companies that plan to invest this way. The share I have held or longest in my portfolio has paid for itself several times over now with this investment strategy, albeit in a different sector. Wanted to try and get in as early as possible on the next one that could do it ;)
is actually a bit closer to 40, im in at about .77 Going for gold here ;)
Good start. my holding is around 5mil, although at a higher price than the current :)
Has to be a management play. Given that they invested with the old board, I am sure there was an understanding that the board would be replaced and Gil Leates was ready to go in. I also suspect that they had people on a wanted list, and those people knew they were on the list ;)
Thankyou kindly sir.:)
I recall reading on the coms board that he was asked at.their agm about vmp. He said it was an investment only, albeit a large one. Im sure if you ask someone on their will have a more accurate record :)
Would you care to define nibble?
Welcome to the party mate. Seems to be some interest appearing here since Reynolds joined the board. Spread remarkably tight as well!
One final thing I would offer by the way. My interpretation of the investment strategy is that they plan to buy stakes in businesses which are already profitable and that outright takeovers will be less common. This can frequently generate very cash rich companies as they are taking in money with very few operating overheads. I like these types of companies, especially as they often become very high yield dividend payers, which is the stated aim of VMP in the medium term.
There is an article on share profits somewhere, interviewing Adam Reynolds.
Nay problemo. It is a very risky investment given it is a shell with no money and owns nothing ;)
Yup, there it is! I didn't doubt you, hard to make something like that up! Just odd that I couldn't see anything.
Entirely up to you of course ;) In my personal opinion this is the best board for any shell on AIM. It surpasses the CTP board in terms of it's networking and experience. I recommend a read of the new investment policy they approved earlier this year, it is unusually clear in describing how it will intend to operate as a new entity. Also worth taking note of the warrants issued to Gil Leates as they serve as relatively short term ambitious SP targets for the company which give an idea of their aims. There is also an interview somewhere here with David Newton (manager of the Helium Fund): http://www.shareprophets.advfn.com/views/4354/verdes-management-and-the-method-in-the-madness-of-the-750000-investment-a-chat-with-david-newton Gives an interesting perspective. In particular it shows how they are making the large investment based on management alone. God knows VMP owns nothing else for them to invest in at the moment!
