I cant see 2.5mil...
What i particularly like is that the three main players all have strong ties to Helium. Having such a reliable fund backing such capable people is a real asset for a shell.
Spring was the last interim statement.
The reynolds appointment is a serious one though. Between him, Gil Leates and the backing of Helium it signals a serious intent to grow VMP and to not hang around much while they are at it. What was originally a punt based purely on prayer is rapidly turning into the most promising board of a shell you could ask for.
It was a perfectly executed pin.
Quite a big hitter also.
Im still here :)
Coms is in a position not too disimilar to QPP. It had an aggressive acquisition period and is now going through the process of proving cashflow for the future. During acquisitions it is easy to build momentum and hype, because PIs love to bet on the price a share could be at when the next deal hits. However once that is over it can become very mundane and so the air is let out of the share price. Coms was share of the year 2013, particularly after a big conteact win with Mitie, which led to a massive spike in January as interest grew. Expectation about end of year results was also huge, because with the regular updates.about contract wins and all the acquisitions, it was expected that turnover would massively exceed previous guidance. This was particularly aided by DB saying the figures would be 'mahoosive'. In reality they were, as coms was profitable well before most market expectations, however.the.share price was so inflated that the predictable.fall on red dot occured. This was also exacerbated because after the 'mahoosive' comment there was a large surge in the share price which forced.Coms to release an rns saying they knew np reason for the.share price.change. Finally, rumours about a placing (somewhat out of the blue) ahead of time to fund an acquisition surfaced, which.turned out to be true. This led to a lot of negative sentiment, not least because at 6p it was a significant discount to the SP at the time, albeit a not unfair one to the fundamentals of the.company. Since then coms has been cleaning house. The suspension due to a reporting error was unfortunate, but I dont.believe it has made any significant difference. Coms is now a cash positive small company in an emerging market, based in a country well suited (because of very well developed broadband and 3g/4g) to producing demand. Once it has tidied up all the overlaps from acquisition efficiencies it will inceease profit with no additional business. Add new.clients as it grows and it is.clearly well placed for the 3-5 year investment. Opinion seems to suggest that it will be a.favourite for takeover in a few years. Its not a new idea, it would be hard to believe that a larger player, particularly in the business market, wouldnt take over something like coms once someone else has done the work to make it efficient and profitable. I was in at 4.6 to 12p, sold out at 8p on the way down. I plan to rebuy after NEXT years full year results, assuming figures are within expectations.
I doubt Helium care even the slightest. They will have invested with a minimum 5year view. The idea that a dip over the course of 2 months, which they absolutely knew would occur, will bother them is just absurd.
This is a shell company. It is unlikely that the firat acquisition will do more than take us slightly above the 0.75 support, 1p if we do well. As long as it is profitable as a company we will maintain a lot better until 2nd acquisition. I suspect a lot of 'investors' got stung expecting very fast movement. That was pure naivity on their part, a shell wil always be a medium term investment for any reasonable return. Personally I would like to be derisked in about 12months.from now, maybe sooner if stars align. But I prefer to be cautious. The appointments have been extremely good. I know the CTP forum like to parade their board, but I much much prefer ours for building from nothing. That we are now debt free via db shows the commitment to the shell, as that gave time. The renogotiating of broker agreement demonstrated both that housekeeping was being done and the long term expectation for the company. I wouldnt be surprised if board already knew its target, but it takes time. In my opinion it probably is taking a little longer because I would want to ask the market for a lot more money than needed, both for operation costs and to avoid delays on acquisition number 2. If they are being clever with it they will be negotiating to give a lot of warrants to reduce the immediate dilution. This both prevents short term price weakness and gives medium term financing power for more funding. With Helium on board all fundraising is a lot easier than otherwise might be. If we have heard nothing by end of september it might start to drag, but I expect at least a couple of updates by then and our first acquisition and fundraising complete by end of october.
Absolutely. Im sure a few people make money moving their money around a lot, but not nearly as many as these boards claim! Im happy sitting here for now, will derisk at 2p or so and then sit pretty for long term.
Market also being clobbered last few days, surprised it didnt drop sooner. Im still here. All the board appointments have been impressive and the warrants issued to Gil Leates are good targets for next 18months or so.
Considrring the market is being hammered, vmp is getting both unusual volume and a completely unexpected tick up.
As you are a new member to our coven, I would be interested to hear what led you to vmp?
5mil, but you are in at a.much better price than me :) Good luck! This share is definitely a punt!
In a strange way it is less attractive now than before. The restructuring probably leaves very little additional savings over standard savings from integrating administrations, so a lot of the value has.probably been taken out by the SP staying about £10. Probably need to wait until next spring to see what the trading figures say. If underlying profit goes up it may become a target for a bet on future revenue. If figures drop an offer could e triggered by SP dropping back to 900.
What does it bring you up to?
1 in a million is always a sure thing!!
On a intraday basis you were probably correct. But be aware that 20k shares can be knocked out very fast, harder supports are usually further out on a multiweekly basis.
Looks like an ISA filler today.
