Tekcapital Plc (AIM: TEK), (OTCQB: TEKCF), the UK intellectual property investment group focused
on transforming university technologies into valuable products that can improve people’s lives, is
pleased to announce that portfolio company Guident has provided an update on some of their recent
activities.
1. Guident Ltd, the developer of software for improving the safety of autonomous vehicles (AVs)
and delivery robots, announced that they have filed their 8th patent application covering
improvements to their remote monitoring and control centre for AVs. U.S. patent application
#17/579,203 entitled: “Near Real-Time Data and Video Streaming System for a Vehicle,
Robot or Drone”.
”We have achieved what we believe to be one of the lowest glass-to-glass (camera-tomonitor) latencies in the market. This technology is required by teleoperations (which enables
a human to remotely monitor and control an autonomous vehicle) as it facilitates rapid image
analysis for quick decision making,” said Harald Braun, Chairman & CEO of Guident Ltd.
2. Guident attended the 2022 Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, and whilst there
engaged in meetings with potential customers and partners regarding its teleoperation
solution, and was delighted with their feedback and desire to collaborate. Discussions are
on-going and the Company will update the market as appropriate.
3. Additionally, Guident has announced progress with their regenerative shock absorbers
(RSA). They reported that their RSA prototypes have been fabricated and are being
evaluated by independent test facilities to confirm their performance and capabilities.
Guident is currently in discussions with potential customers and strategic partners to both
