Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I know I think many of us were moaning when it seemed licked in the range £1.01 to £1.15 and we are now double than that now so it’s all relative but if we could double from here it would genuinely mean I could retire early so this is my most important investment
Pitiful number of shares traded today and all sells! Tells you all you need to know. Not good when a share just makes you moan all the time so i am going to stop and either simply hold or bail while i at least have half my stake money left
it takes a brave man (but a good investor) to sell at a loss. My default is always to hold on thinking the price may improve. It rarely does. We could see 50p soon or 50% drop on the IPO value which would be dire and then even more if the drill is a duster. Probably holding for the next news, hope for an uplift then get out as i really don't think this share is going anywhere. Lick my wounds and move on. The frustrating thing is i bought in for a producing asset not some wild cat exploration play so its not as if i agreed to this risk profile!!
i just don't think they are very good. State the obvious, little positive advice and poor stock picks (don't get me started about Chris Dillow - i look forward to reading his comments as he always sees the negatives and never proposes anything positive. Definitely half empty kind of guy but in an investment publication hardly useful). Though that is may be a symptom of the illogicality of the markets and the opaqueness with which some companies operate. But it shows that if people who clearly have experience and more time to look at these things have difficulty in successfully identifying companies to invest in, what chance do we amateurs have.
Oh dear. A tip in IC is the kiss of death. Don't think their success rate is very high! May as well ask mystic meg than rely on them. Though they are bound to get some right sometimes just on the law of averages.
However, agreed, any interview would be better coming on the back of an update/news especially when we can anticipate one so soon.
