The turning point today, solid news on the ship being loaded with 44000 tons and forward orders for coming months to India.
I am not too concerned with the spot price of coal as it’s the average we need to look at over the year.
Met coal will bounce back, with all the defence budgets increasing and China starting back up again.
We just need the 2nd HWM up and running now to compete the operation.

We just need a update RNS on the 2nd HWM to get this moving back up to the 24p range, profits are based on average yearly prices for met coal, not daily spot prices, met coal should be back on its way up soon enough.

Didn’t they buy this plant cheap because met coal was really cheap, it’s not looking good, getting closer to breaking even again if met coal keeps dropping

Uk gas prices up around 8% today

Well I am sure most of us here expect a strong met coal price going forward otherwise we wouldn’t be invested here.
Getting trains, ships and forward orders was all in the last interview, so everything is going to plan.
Arms production will be in full swing for the foreseeable future, quality met coal will be in big demand.

The start of Doubling production in the next couple of weeks cannot be underestimated with the second HWM, it’s going to have a real positive effect on the share price.

All this from a company with just a £75m market capital, it should be 10x that with those sort of sales and no real debt.
Not to mention the rerate once the dividend is announced.

I don’t believe that they over egged it, even if you use the lower estimate of £80 pure profit per ton, and the lower end of production estimates of 800000 tons, from next month you’re looking at $60m profit per year.
Any increase in met coal will go straight onto the bottom line, and again production could be 1m tons at the high estimate, that’s $80m profit per year.
All of the above with met coal at $290, steel production is on the increase with all the arms manufacturers at full production, met coal could easily hit $350/400 again.
