VW Europe sales were 4,345,000 vehicles and China sales were 4.200.000 vehicles in 2017 . Based on the extrapolation that I did for China they will be the very close similar needs for VW in Europe . Funny thing is there is only 200,000 tonnes of LI mined currently as is not enough .

The stupid thing is Ober , what if they now announce we will use Czech Lithium the day after . Really don't get the rest of the market . Where in the hell does the rest of the market think they will get their Lithium from .

And what is more impressive EMH now has an opportunity to Auction our Lithium to the highest bidder between LG and CATL and wait until Tesla starts in Europe . Bring it on .
There just is not enough Lithium in the other continents to go around .

From HC : Thanks Fingers, note that Tesla hit a 350,000 EV run rate last week, with talk in the wings of doubling the model 3 production to 10,000 cars a week, which would mean that they would need a second gigafactory.

Also the tesla big battery has had every man and his dog scrambling to install a grid battery, with several more in construction in australia and rumours of a 1GWh jobbie in California.

The market is there, even the most optimistic of forecasts will prove to be pessimistic.

I would suggest that CATL and others are waiting on samples from our pilot plant , would think decisions would be made very soon after .
