I don’t think one can knock the sentiment of broomtree’s posts today. The cost of Riverstone’s finance is not sustainable. The new finance deal has been continually kicked down the road from Q4 22 to Q1 23 to Q2 23 to Q4 23, to Q1 24 and Q2 24. We don’t yet know how much, if anything, Harl is losing per month and we won’t have much idea until the 23 accounts are published. Being an investor here IS a leap of faith at the moment. Broomtree with his wall mounted share certificate is choosing to follow the path of ‘once bitten’. I hope that Harl won’t be another certificate requiring a picture frame!

Hebridean9, I did comment on the declining share price yesterday under the head of weakly share price. It had around 30 posts. Although yesterday was a busy day for posts so easily missed I guess.

It’s the 1st March tomorrow and the end of week 9 of the year. So far we haven’t had an up week. It’s not looking too good but, you never know!

I think ForrestGump 09:34 may have his finger on the pulse here. I remember making a few bob on AAL a few years ago. It dipped to £2.50 then recovered to £20 quite quickly then on to £30+.

I have my fill of Harl shares so won’t be buying any more. Hoping that it stays above my stop loss. I don’t want to sell but have to stick to my system. Best wishes to all holders.

Lottie123, 04:12. A good post. Also probably puts into perspective why the bod do not have more significant holdings. I remain opined that AR should have been dismissed, some time ago, following the continued failure to securing the much promised funding. The ‘radio silence, from HQ is also concerning. Kave dumped his 10 million holding a year ago and we are left to speculate the reason. My own average purchase price is now above the sp, a position that I’m surprised about. It’s not impossible that the market makers are trying to relieve us of our holdings cheaply but at an MCap of under £18m I doubt it’s worth their time and effort. At the moment I’m above stop loss. I hope it stays there!

The best way imo to show confidence is through significant director share buys. That way their own money is at risk. With a buyback the company is at increased risk and as the directors have small holding they don’t take on much at all. For me people with no cash shouldn’t go on spending sprees they may not be able to afford.

Perhaps a share buyback now, after all of the dilution that has occurred would, increase debt, risk and smack of serious mis-management?
