Why the drop today? Seems ridiculous that high wage inflation would cause a fall when the markets were fearful of affordability.

We have a housing shortage and very low unemployment so house prices can’t slip too much.

On top of that, we have an election coming up. Both parties will be wanting to tempt voters with some form of help to buy Scheme, sunak mentioned it not long ago.

You never know where the bottom is, but statistically buying arcs 60% discount will enhance returns in the long term.

I remember vividly how much fear the media were causing in the housing market back in the times of liz truss. Reporting that Nationwide were expecting house prices to drop 35%, mortgages were pulled by most lenders, and the only rates that were available were 6-7%. The property market looked very bleak BUT the PSN SP is now at the same level so I think this is the bottom. Other HB’s are 40% up since then and I think they could revisit the same lows. But PSN is already there.

I’ve recently bought this, expect to hold for 3 years and at least double my investment.

Candid investor, you’ve contradicted yourself by saying ALL shares were at their lowest during covid. Well this share is about 20% lower than covid already.

Sure, there may not be an immediate recovery, but this is a great opportunity to get in cheap.

Had a quick skim through the annual report, and I notice a £400m bond is due to be repaid in November.

Does anyone know if anything has been secured to pay this off?
