OK so an update on ROOTS sales

Boots have sold 44 items in approx 24hrs
Superdrug have sold 28 items in approx 24hrs

So thats a total of 72 items, not bad considering there are no promotions on that I can see. I will keep a tally and post up how this changes.

Just found this while looking at Gregs old post, seemed a good list so I thought I would put it up again. I am going to check the stock each evening when the markets close so around 4.30 and again post on here.

What we "know" compared to last year... As we move towards results

IDP was 400p a share - 190p now
IDP was a one "star" product company (Skinny Tan) - now it also has Roots
IDP was only in Superdrug and not all stores - Now its in all stores and Roots is in Boots
IDP had supply chain issues - these seem to be resolved
Shortly Roots will be in Tesco
Strong suspicion within 6 months Skinny Tan will be in SD, Tesco and Boots!
Prolong is FDA cleared - could be anything
We KNOW management are pleased with Roots sales to Boots - I have it in writing as does another shareholder
We know Roots is getting well reviewed and has a fast growing facebook community
We know (so far) Roots has not gone out of stock at Boots despite high demand suggesting supply chain issues are resolved
We know they revised down profit estimates and they should be an easy beat for the new CEO... Standard tactic to make new CEO look great
We strongly suspect Roots will be in more Boots stores by Feb 2019 as per facebook post (https://www.facebook.com/rootsdoubleeffect/)

Would you say thats fair then Greg, the fact you are "guessing" sales have fallen? Clearly you have sold hence no longer monitoring the stock and posting such things as the above. Do you understand why people who own this stuck may be a little irritated by you posts which you have now confirmed are not factual.

We are about to hit Tesco for Roots and the stock levels of all items at boots are a lot higher than at Superdrug which demonstrates how well the products are selling.

I'll check the stock later today and see where they are at.

In the short Greg the fact you still post when not invested makes it look like you merely want a lower buy in price.

AP has done a sterling job and just looking at the fundamentals says it all.

So i have just tried what Greg use to do below and added all 5 of the roots items to my basket. They have 99 of all items in stock bar the dandruff shampoo where they have 88. This means they have massively stocked up on IDP products and bodes very well for our financials. I have created a spreadsheet so will look again tomorrow and see whats changed and update here :)

Greg, 25th Sept, these were your comments. Yes HC sold some but in reality bar this, nothing has changed. In fact its improving as time goes on.

I have a spreadsheet and I put the maximum of each item in my basket every morning and check it against the days previous number mate.... Sometimes it goes up (resupply) which wrecks my figures, but some days, like today I get a clean set, nothing resupplied, everything dropped and a nice result...

Last 24 hours, 31 were for the 14.99 SKU.. Facebook heading towards 20,000 follows... This rate is 350,000 pcs PA just from boots.com for Roots which is insane.... Analysts are only penning in around 2.5 million of revenue.. Add in the stores, Tesco coming online and the DTC channel and I think it must be trending above projections...

Its the general markets not just IDP so nice try Leaping haha.

I have full faith this will bounce very nicely soon and people will scramble to get back in.

We are far ahead of when this was £4 so lots of scope for huge increases. MD sell shares all the time, they are allowed to take profits like the rest of us.

Still 3rd and 10th on superdrug so holding well.

Complete manipulation here, look at all those buys at 0.75 and no movement. You get 4 sells and they drop it 10% despite around 6 mill of buys compared to 2 mill sells. Disgraceful

Hey all, saw the drop yesterday so thought I would pop in and see what was happening. Good they reacted with a quick interview and didnt come across too badly with various revenue streams noted. I still have a soft spot for mysq hence popping back now and again despite not being invested haha.

Fingers crossed it bounces back for all those invested

It's the fact you still waste your time posting here. If not invested then find another BB to praise while invested then deramps when you've sold. It gets a bit boring.

None of us like the fact he sold but like has been said before, a number of big companies have directors who sell. Fever tree as a recent example and they are doing well. In fact HC sold before and then share price went on to hit £4 so who knows what may happen here.
