Scooby, there are a lot of gasses we can't test by law. So farm out to a NIOSH accredited lab in the Staes.

There are niche Government labs (one I use is in Bracknell) that are licenced, but rsarely use.

Most of the chemical warfare gasses (mustard,chlorine,phosphine, cyanides etc) I don't test.

Anyone have ideas as to what the synthesis gas would a mix of?

I have no idea what the composition of the synthesis gas is.

In my job, I lead line trials and do some testing in-house, with same day results

Depending on what gasses are being tested ( I don't know the synthesis gas composition), some testing will have to be done by an external company, usually in the U.S.

This is a longer process - It can take up to 6 weeks for some tests.

I don't recall seeing a test lab at Bridgend, so all testing will probably need to be done elsewhere.

But at least external verification will come with a Certificate of Analysis, showing % purity of derived gasses/substrate.

Biomass is more complex, as humidity of feedstock will influence the quality.

Thanks Scooby - it was my thought that they had taken on PHE's kit to replace their own. Only 8 months ago that interview - how quickly things can change!

So it's PHE for initial waste to syngas, then they work their magic converting to SAF.

Very encouraging development this tie up, as they have government backing. A few 1 million shares buys today also.

This interview with Avioxx raises more questions than gives answers.

Why do they need our tech if they have their own?

Many apologies, was £300 per tonne, not kilo.

Biochar retails between £400 to £1,000 per tonne, dependant on grade.

I believe that biochar is graded upon assay - determining it's potential uses and monetary value.

I can't find the article saying £300 per kilo, but was from EQT after their assay results.

It's good that any process waste can have further use, with an extra £ coming in.

Media saying it's great the recently announced $500 billion AI plan.

How will we power it ? - nuclear power they say.

How long to build a nuclear power plant ? - 6 years they say !! Minimum.

PHE would be like a kid in a sweetshop in the US - power all the data centres with waste plastic.

God knows there'd be no shortage of waste plastic over there.

I did mention a few weeks ago PHE's relationship with Trimtabs, and wether they could utilise our biochar.

EQT had their's assayed to determine potential use.

It would be good to see potential uses of a waste product, at £300 per kilo

Yes it's not the Protos site, but the Hynet hub.

At least something will be moving soon in that area.

So I have misunderstood the statement? I wonder how many others have also taken it the way I did.

Yes I have looked at their website, that is why I raised the questions as to the comments in the article.

It may be in the translation then. a recently 30 year licence granted, rather than holding a licence for 30 years already.

BlackHopper - really the most idiotic? You need to read the PHE board!

As an investor here, I am well within my rights to ask valid questions.

I couldn't understand why the CEO would say in a publication that he will wait 3 years (end of 2027) to just decide on wether to mine or not, when he knows test results validated the area as a source of rare minerals.

And on top of that, saying in that 3 years whilst mulling over the idea of making money or not, he will need more fundraising, diluting existing shareholders further whilst pondering away.

Not a deramper, a shareholder with concerns after reading his article.

I was looking to be educated on why he would make these remarks. Not receive chidish abuse from a starnger!

Not sure about a tax, but government directing the phased in abolishment of incinerators to be replaced by DMG plants would be a positive step.

That large sell at 0.85 was disappointing to see at this stage.

I would have imagined mining would be a lot sooner if these minerals are so scarce and in such demand.

Now I understand, drilling is different to mining ! Apologies for my misunderstanding.
