As far as I can see, Geotest have quoted E 1.7 million for 10,000 drill depth, not per rig. That was the point of my question, 2 rigs would speed up the process to early 2026 for JORC indicated resources. This in turn would halve the my investment opportunity window. I suppose just have to wait and see.

Yes I agree with you that stating assay results will be announced in real time, is less likely to spike the sp. I'm thinking along the same lines as yourself regarding other holdings I have. I'll research further how ACAM operate with their investment into early stage plays. Thanks again.

Hi all. I would like some input as to the timeline of this drill campaign.

How many rigs are Geotest likely to use for this 10,000 metre programme? If only the one rig, then this could take about 10 months to complete.

I wasn't here for the 2024 exploration drill which drilled a total depth of 5,000 metres. Yet I do see a drill start in July 2024 with a final assay report by year end. Can anybody remember how many rigs were used then?

So now we get onto the indicated resource stage, which I anticipate to be complete around June next year. Now that we have ACAM on board, do people think that the way forward to production is still througha tie up with the recently LSE quoted Metlen? Or would ACAM have more of an influence.

Would ROCK stay an exploration comapny, or try it's hand as a producer? Would probably mean giving up 50% of it's rights for this.

I have invested for the longer term, as this stock does appear to be so undervalued at present, with my 5 million shares bought way back in January.

I don't invest more than £10,000 in a single company, but I am seriously considering breaking this rule for ROCK.

Jenson - drilling is anticipated to start sometime next week. The drill campaign is already fully funded.

The story to this and ROCK is similar. Gonna be worth billions as everything is in place (I kept reading). ROCK went from 0.25 to 0.08 - as it waited for permits the market thought would take a month or two. Seven months later they can start drilling.

As soon as the market hears the news it wants to hear, decent revenues or the juicy medical division details, then this will put ALRT's price action to shame. If you can hold, hold. If you can add on the dips even better, but patience is the key.

10/06/2022 The second phase of exploration requires the payment to CNOOC of US$250,000 and the work obligation is the drilling of an exploration well within 2 years.

The only contractual obligation was for 10% payment of Jade well costs (£1.23 million) and to commit to second phase. They committed to it if funding available. See **** text **** below.

Forward Plan

It is Empyrean's intention to maximise the value of its interest in the Mako Gas Discovery on the Duyung permit in Indonesia and position itself for participation in the drilling of the high impact Topaz prospect. Demand for oil and gas in the South East Asian region is strong and growing. Demand and prices for pipeline quality gas that the Mako Gas Discovery offers is strong into the Singapore energy hub.

China is the largest importer of oil in the world. Exploration throughout the region has gathered momentum and CNOOC is drilling a large number of domestic exploration wells. Empyrean is currently considering its alternatives to funding the Topaz prospect drill and is preparing a work program that it believes can see the Topaz well drilled within the next drilling weather window in the Pearl River Mouth Basin in 1H 2023. Topaz is a slightly shallower target depth. Given the very large target size at Topaz, Empyrean will also investigate potential risk share alternatives and farm out possibilities.

I couldn't find any penalty clauses for missing the drill deadline, just that the permit was withdrawn from EME.
