Great to see this. If only more traders on the OTC were on the PM band wagon. Given current news, greater interest would mean greater gains.
I have a large block of shares bought on the OTC market. I've been sitting on them for 11 years waiting and waiting and waiting!! With things finally starting to percolate - for what are obviously very good reasons, I'd love to see a greater volume of trading on the U.S. OTC market . This'll influence the SP and allow for an easier exit when the time comes. Any ideas on how this Canadian investor can help bring the PM story to retail investors in North America will be greatly appreciated. Good fortune for all.
Jimi - if it were that simple to generate buys, I'd be posting daily!! I wish it were. There are various chat boards where comments can be posted (only positive please...). Yahoo Finance is good, but unfortunately not too many follow PM.
Finally, it looks like we're meeting another significant milestone. I've owned my over 800k shares for 11 years, seen lots of ups and downs, but this news should begin a steady climb. In hindsight, I wish I'd bought my shares through the LSE, rather than OTC in the US . There's not a lot of PM volume currently being traded OTC. I hope the stock now attracts lots of volume from us North American traders. This Canadian boy wants there to be lots of buyers when I eventually cash out.
I hope you’re on the mark Dinger. We’re close.
Nice to see some positive movement - hopefully the EL will be upon us soon and the SP will start a steady climb. I'm tired of telling my wife "Matad will hit". I've been sitting on over 800,000 shares for 11 years and under water for far too long. Fortunately I've been able to sit and wait, and wait, and wait, and wait...
I think the wait will soon be over - there are simply too many good things on the horizon.
If my previous comment re the lack of connections among PM principals within the Mongolian government is true, then we have very little chance of 'influencing' what others have described as a fairly corrupt political system. Playing by the rules is a tough path to success, or at best, a slow path to success. Maybe to get things done in Mongolia some 'greasing of palms' may be necessary, which'll be difficult for PM to do - given that I believe PM is an ethical company.
It would seem to me that the principals in PM are not terribly well connected within Mongolian government circles. If they were, one could think that by now, they'd have been able to influence a more timely award of the EL
I’m a LTH of over 800k shares - currently in the red. No doubt, I’d like to see PM take off.
I’d like to hear the thoughts of others re the possibility of the government simply continuing to drag their heels on the EL with the goal of driving PM into bankruptcy - and then manipulate things to gain total State control over the oil find(s).
For the past several months, I've only looked at the SP, and not bothered to look at the chat. Given today's spike, and a quick review of the chatter, It's good to see some of my fellow long term holders haven't lost faith. I've been invested in PM for about 7-8 years and my average price of 12p is still a way off - but I still keep the faith!!. My wife has long tired of me stating 'when Matad hits...' Here's hoping!!!
Shirley - you mean surely
Fully agree with your sentiments The-Lockie. I can chill for a while longer, but, would love to see a fire lit under the 818k shares I've had for the past 7 years. Still under water, but bright blue skies are looking well within sight.
Well worth listening to!
Clearly there are lots of positives for PM on the horizon. I'm surprised the market hasn't jumped more, or at least, continued a gradual uptick. Wait and see seems to be the prevalent mindset.
Thx Ojay - all the very best to you - which will, of course, rub off on me as well!!!
It's time we all made some (Mike) 'bucks'.
Same boat as you miss_1940. Been here for 7 years. At an average SP of 12p, sitting on 818k shares and waiting with excitement re what's ahead.
After 7 1/2 years of owning this baby, and aggressively averaging down when the SP was really depressed, here's hoping my 818,000 shares make my retirement that much more comfortable. Good luck to all holders - especially those who've been around for a LOOOOONG time!!
While some may want to find negatives by parsing every word in this RNS, one cannot dispute that the news is all very positive. It bodes well for the coming months. Patience is key - as a 7 year holder of PM who's sitting on a large number of shares, this upbeat RNS is very, very welcome. Now let's get on with delivering the goods!! GLA
After 7 years, during which I've averaged down to a reasonable SP so that I'm now sitting on over 800,000 shares, it would be phenomenal if PM finally hits. High risk, high reward. GLTA
Although one can easily get caught up in over analysis or parsing of words, I find it rather encouraging that Mike Buck is quoted as 'looking forward' to providing an update on SL. Words in an RNS have an impact on the SP. He could have simply stated that he 'will give an update', rather than add that he's 'looking forward'. Hopefully this is indicative that good news is coming.
Interesting to see that this is the second 'Annual' General Meeting this year, when in prior years there have been none (2017, 2015) or only one (2014, 2013, 2012). Is it possible that plans to announce some big news has put a second "annual' meeting on the calendar???.
