I did my Bed&Isa through ii via my online trading/ISA accounts - it took nearly 5 days to go through. I only lost about 400 shares on the transfer so not too bad. Some platforms can be done over the phone straight away.

I am afraid I have to agree that this country is going down the pan fast. I worked from the age of 16, spent 34 years in HM Forces and always worked and have never claimed anything. Sadly the benefit culture has been too easy for some. A few years ago there was a plan that people who were claiming benefits and were able to work did so to be able to claim it. You see plenty on benefits with expensive phones, sky dishes, smoking etc. There is plenty needs doing around the UK, but as usual it never get off the ground. Rant also over!! GLTA.
