Hi BA, I don’t think the set-up and recording is that tricky from what I’ve heard previously. It’s the post production that requires more skilled effort. Maybe, with enough cameras, they could outsource the recording to the venues or the venue’s contractors? Live would be different. Who knows? It’ll all come out in the fullness of time. Chris.

I wasn’t there but I have watched SH’s pres’ online. I’ve also met him and Anthony a couple of times and spoken to both of them 1 on 1 and 2 on 2. To criticise either of them so harshly just shows a complete lack of knowledge of the story and them as individuals. All pi’s can have their minor gripes and no BoD will get everything right in our eyes all of the time but, I suspect Thechancers is not quite the real deal here. For a supposed holder they don’t appear to have a clue. I too believe the announcement of the first live concert, which I think will be a big star/act/‘show’ in a ‘wow, how did they manage that?’ way is not too far off. When they say before Christmas they mean it therefore announcement must be pretty imminent for the advertising. Just my 2p and I’m ‘sphericals deep’ here :-)

You’d just burst out into the cloud, buying virtual servers by the hour and mirroring base configurations across. 6 years ago at a VMWare event in Barcelona I was in a session that mentioned that one of the UK bookies did this around the Grand National. If I recall correctly they multiplied their computing by a factor of four. 6 years ago! - The world of IT has moved a long way since then. Get the base configurations correct and burst into the cloud - Amazon Web Services etc. Ramp up, live concert, ramp down. Simples. P.S. It won’t be U2 or McCartney imho.
