The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Lordfont, don’t you think 33 posts in 1 day (so far) might be a tad excessive?
No surprises, results out of the way, shorters have no reason to stay any more and will likely close, external and internal marketing ramping up for Wireless this weekend which will be huge, cash in the bank, no debt, big backers, artists now being broadcast regularly, across genres, potential for near term advertising revenues mentioned and Captain AM still guiding the ship on a smooth course to profitability. What's not to like?
Then you get the BB's tedious bore post this to reveal its remarkable lack of understanding on both MelodyVR or how to build a brand and a business in the online content arena.
"No matter how good you think you are no company can pour money down the drain and expect to survive. They don’t have the money to promote the product and the only way they can raise it is yet another share issue."
Marvellous, everything is in the right place and we can still laugh at the resident tool.
That’s the title of this board so, considering this week will be the biggest in The company’s history to date, could we drop all of the codey related stuff and focus on the company. Just report his/her post so admin’ can deal when they look in and filter it. I filtered it on day one it was here as it was clear it had nothing of any value to add.
We’ve had a string of artists perform via LA and the latest, JoJo has had superb feedback from fans on SM. Including superb feedback on MelodyVR.
This is our time, let’s not let distractions continually clog the board up as there are likely to be a lot of PI’s looking in as part of their research into MVR.
As it seems Horsebreath and his other clueless tool friends have less memory capacity than a fish, I think it best to post this again.
One of the world's biggest festivals and yet, (taking the opinion of the 'knowledgeable' pessimistic tools on here), they clearly don't have a clue about marketing.
Why do I say this? Well at 17:21 tonight I received the FIRST marketing email from them for a virtual festival that starts on Thursday. What are they doing? Michael and Emily must go! They clearly don't have what's required to take Glastonbury forward! Sack them! Or...
The clueless negative tools on here calling for the head of AM are just that, clueless tools?
I know what I think.

You tedious t ool Optimist. You think LiveNation don’t know what they are doing marketing wise?
Member since March, 2 posts, 2 negative comments. Say no more.
Says a troll :-)
Ah, we have a new t roll. Codey’s alter ego? Like Codey and the pudding, straight in the filter bin.
Alex, SamSmith is a Twitter troll that seems to have made its way over here.
Lordfont,
3D?????
For someone to sell they’d have to be holding shares Pete ;-)
Oh Themis, still got that negative vibe? I think MVR have some far larger ‘partners’ and are most likely going to have a couple more.
You’re like the clever half of Horsepoo from these parts with the deliberately placed negativity lol.
dRrade,
NextVR got taken out for chump change. By Apple last month. They went too early with all of their promotion, had a high cost of content creation and basically blew up. Slowly, slowly is the way to win in the VR market.
Hi Ontarget,
I think one could justifiably read into that that the FS could be even earlier than we expect. That would indicate there’s not much time left to load up. With a broker target price in the 20s for FS I find it incredible that this is still pretty much off of most people’s radar?
Lucky for me loading some more up this week on top of my LTHs at these crazy low prices.
Albert, are you getting Alexandra Palace and the Albert Hall mixed up?
This was reported to the company yesterday.
Just to add to the Broadway discussion; the below is from my notes of the AGM in July 2019. Obviously Covid will have changed things but hey, who knows?
'Steven Han**** has been working on the John Gore / Broadway project for 9 months. Theatres are now at capacity, there is no way to physically expand the number of seats, ticket prices are deemed to be at maximum and, despite bringing in more matinee performances, there are both union and performer workload reasons to restrict further performances. Being so, JG sees MelodyVR as an opportunity to increase revenues. Of interest were the figures given on incomes; the average US Broadway show attendee earns $240k per annum against the average music concert attendee of $35k per annum. Theatre will come a lot more to the fore in 2020.'
