Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Would you all stop making ridiculous predictions. Non of you know what’s going to happen next week next month or next year. Neither do any of you have a clue what the share price will be or won’t be. I’ve read this board for weeks and a very few people have made lucky guesses but that’s all they are. It’s so off putting to new investors. The only thing that matters is doing your own research and trusting your own judgement.
My sentiments exactly Bobby. I’m not at all bothered.Im pretty new to this so was just dipping my toe in the water and got burnt! Anyway I’ve had a real red letter day with AVCT that’s made up for all my past booboos. So I live and learn. Thanks again for your help
Thanks Bobby. I’ve never had a share suspended before. It certainly won’t be the end of my world. I bought 500 quids worth when they were 8p hoping that phase 3 trial would succeed. You win some you lose some. I’ll keep an eye on this though. Thanks for your response. Much appreciated.
Bobby. What do you think is likely to happen to our shares after a RTO is announced and they are suspended. I’ve been in MTFB since the phase 3 trial.
Just watched the very impressive video tweet by AS. What a great communicator. I was trying to work out all the different options for the company as it evolves it’s opportunities within the Covid and Precision platforms.
I’ve had to go for a lie down.
Thanks Alba. That’s good news. I have solid faith in the turnaround. I’ve been here long term and got a wee bit burned. Not too badly thankfully but I’m holding tight and anticipating a recovery.
Si547. How do you know that Maz are in support of the bod. I can’t see that anywhere although I hope it’s true
Thanks missthepenny. Some very thought provoking issues you have raised in your post.
I wouldn’t have considered these tbh
A lot of it is history now but most certainly some lessons to be learned.
Medusa directors are both founders of Booho
Richard Hughes also founded Zeus Capital who are joint brokers to Avacta
Cytiva made the most successful applications to the FDA last year by a country mile.
Further news on FDA approval is imminent
Could FDA and CE approval already be a slam dunk?
Yes Piggy. I agree but I didn’t want to start another ****ging match on here. I’ve seen enough of that After reading some of the stuff on here I’d decided I wouldn’t post again but thought I’d help curious out.
The only way to do it is research research and Research some more. Then trust your own judgment.
But I take your point
Hi Curious. Me too. I have also learnt a lot. I’d recommend confessions of a market maker on you tube. As far as I’m concerned there is always more to learn. Also as far as Avacta is concerned Myles McNulty’s research paper is thorough and well thought out. I’ve also learned to be wary of some posters on these boards. Best to always make your own decisions.
Kevin You raise very valid points and I would suggest we are in agreement The issue for me is around timing. If danaher make a move now they’ll pick Avacta up on the cheap. The more agreements we reach with other pharmas the more it’s going to cost them so an early takeover is a distinct possibility.
My preference would be to see the company develop more commercial relationships, grow its revenue streams /value and find a way to stay UK based.
I’m fearful that may not get a chance to happen.
My logic suggests that Avacta hold the aces here. They own the copyright on their concepts particularly in the short term with affimer technology.
The business model allows them to enter into multiple manufacturing and distribution agreements with other pharma companies that have these capabilities.
As these agreements grow I would suggest that one of the cash rich big boys will want it all for themselves. Why would any one of them sit back and allow a level playing field to develop with their competitors while Avacta decide who gets the potential golden tickets of affimer and PREcision technology.
I’m not necessarily suggesting a takeover in imminent but I would like to see the future of the company within the UK assured.
