Yes, inevitably we’ll see some weak holders sell. However, the shares I’m sure will be taken up by those willing to take a longer-term position. The trouble with AIM is that a lot on so called ‘investors’ just want get rich quick schemes. We need EPP to get to a market cap where they can go main market (around £30m market cap) and start to attract some institutional investors who recognise the longer term value.

I put this on my Watchlist this morning after seeing a few comments on the BB. Wish I had invested. Up 50%+ at one point, but closed 2.74% up. A day traders dream 🤩. I’m sure LTH’s will be smiling though as this plays out.

LTi - In your post of 14:39 you seem to have mis-read my earlier post. I used the phrase ‘will be’ (i.e. future) a disconnect between NAV and market cap.

You then came back saying “there isn't a current disconnect” - I was talking about the future and you have referred to the current state of play 🤷

Gemrusty, you have a point, but I think we need to move on from that now. If you look at the strategic decisions the management have made in the last 8 months or so, they appear to have learned their lesson, so let’s draw a line under last years shenanigans, which was not only due to a barrage of strategic acquisitions, but also a surge in speculative retail interest, and high geopolitical demand for critical battery metals and uranium. So not all management fault. IMO of course.

I agree, crazy valuation. However, I feel that once a cathartic RNS lands, this will be one of those shares that goes crazy as folks realise what a disconnect there will be between NAV and the Market Cap. This will be one of those shares that does 200% - 300% in a day when we get a banger of an RNS. Surely it can’t be far away now 🤷

Morning Bowlers. To be honest, I’m not expecting this to rise until we get a real punchy RNS with signs of a definite pathway to some revenue generation (whether it be income or a sale).

Let’s not forget that the NWF has nearly £28Bn of funds to deploy, some of which could come EPP’s way !!

Just the confirmation we needed that LBR’s efforts to refurbish the cogeneration plant and establish a vertically integrated Gold business in SA. The power and steam generation from the plant is going to benefit many local businesses and will be a good revenue generator with only a minimal investment from Met1 (relative to the value of the plant when re-commissioned). The plant will also help with the Gold roasting from the regional mines and the targeted Vantage gold fields. Let’s hope we have some more news soon regarding the latter.

So I learned something new this evening when doing research. I had thought that when an investor exercises warrants this would show up as a trade, but apparently that is not the case, as exercising a warrant is an administrative transaction with the issuing company (EPP) and not a buy/sell order matched on the exchanges secondary market order book. In other words the shares are bought directly from EPP, bypassing regular MMs and exchange limit order books and is ‘off exchange’.

So, sorry if I have mislead anyone in my earlier posts. Of course, if the investor then subsequently sells the shares they have been allocated from the warrants, this transaction will then show up on the share exchange.

Though a sign that the investor expects the share price to increase and is building equity, which isn’t a bad thing
