Having watched Met1 from the sidelines over the last year and seen the SP hit the frenzied heights of 50p I bought in last week and invested £10k for the bottom drawer. The company seem to have fingers in plenty of pies and a multitude of opportunities, so this is one that could really take off again from this level with a couple of good RNS, so happy to sit and be part of the ride if it does.

Thanks Troajan. Great interview there and helped me to understand a little more about the potential of long-duration energy storage. The additional Graphite target of 60,000 tonnes per annum when up and running could produce enormous revenues as I understand it at a current price of $10,000 a tonne. That’s $600m a year just for the graphite !!

Will be adding to my holding on the strength of that, so thanks for that.

Not the news I was hoping for today, but I still think EME will reach a positive outcome. Parties to the farmout will want a clean deal and this is far from it….scare tactics to try and make EME cave. Tom Kelly put his all into this; if justice is to prevail, a deal will be done with EME

Though the actual trading volume is nearer 1.7Bn shares. Me thinks we will see a load of delayed trades posted after close. This looks like being one hell of a roller coaster ride….not for the feint hearted 😉

Hi blakieboy7. No, I am still holding the lot. No panic sale for me. I think this will be resolved and I don’t want to be out of this when we (hopefully) get a spike reversal.

Suspension of Conrad shares could in theory lift at any time before Thursday, which would also affect SP. Hoping for some more news when ASX opens, surely Conrad will have to comment !

I tend to agree with bigbeasty. I sold my Financial Services business and retired a couple of years ago and the process was very protracted, but all documents got signed by all the parties eventually 🤝

I’m sure that we will see Conrad’s share suspension released in a few hours our time (otherwise why only ask for a 24hr suspension?) which will give EME holders a bit more clarity.

Just logged in (unlike a lot of you nocturnal creatures 😉). So a 24 hour extension to get the documents completed re the farm down. Quite a small window, which is great. Just one more day (hopefully) until we hear what the deal is. Time for another top-up perhaps today, should attract a few more investors today 👍.

If the deal Conrad has done has a positive effect on EME, then EME cannot make an announcement until Conrad have posted their RNS first. Perhaps it’s best not to speculate and just wait for the announcement ……

My feeling is that the suspension was to keep an orderly market when the farmout deal had been agreed, but documents not executed at that point. Prevents anyone leak from causing a problem then …..simple as that, nothing more
