There are other opportunities out there for Harbour. Paywall link but you can just see the part mentioning Chrysaor's J-Block (which is now of course Harbour Energy's).

And another one:
"Operations continue with the Chrysaor (Harbour Energy) operated 30/13e-12 Talbot appraisal well which spudded on 20 July with the Valaris 121 jack-up rig. The well is targeting the Paleocene with the aim of refining current resources of c. 20 mmboe and address uncertainty around the depth of the OWC. The well has an estimated duration of 90 days in a success case and upon completion the rig will move to drill the operator’s 30/8-4 Dunnottar exploration well, targeting prospectivity in the Triassic. The J-Block hub provides the most likely tie-back candidate in the event of success with the wells."

NoFear, that is nothing to do with the ongoing Tolmount electrical issue. Your link is for an ongoing study in to possible solutions to getting the rigs off gas turbines to help lower the CO2 emissions. Unlikely to happen tbh because the costs will be insane but let them keep up the charade.
briansy, can't blame you. This is a very frustrating share. I sold out this week @ 379 to break even as I'd had enough torment.
I still believe in the share over the long term but for now I'd rather watch from the sidelines.
Jefff, are you sure they are laying new cables? The latest presentation states:
"During final commissioning and testing of the platform in mid-2021, issues were identified in certain offshore electrical systems. An Inspect and Repair Campaign is now underway and is expected to complete around year end."
I don't know much about Tolmount but that doesn't sound like they are re-laying cables.
Maersk Drilling has secured a contract from UK independent Harbour Energy for the jackup rig Maersk Innovator to drill three subsea development wells in Block 28/9 on the UK Continental Shelf.
Block 28/9 is Catcher and Burgman according to Wikipedia.

Shal, if everything is measured in boe why do we need to consider gas price? The volume of gas has already been converted in to an equivalent barrel of oil. They've already done the hard work, so you don't have to (a bit like Flash).
That's my understanding anyway.
It's combined and measured in "Barrels Of Oil Equivalent"
