SA.
Agreed.
At some point it does need to be about the money.
However I think firstly they are focused on rolling out the technology and making it become a standard across the industry.
You only have to watch the recent presentation with A+E Networks to see how advanced the technology is.
It’s allowing anyone to be an editor and edit from any browser on low bandwidth.
I think the current valuation looks cheap compared to likes of Avid and Frame io.
I believe they will ultimately be taken over for a much higher price than current valuations.

DYOR.
U.S investors will love Blackbird future Cloud technology.
They won’t worry about current earnings etc like UK investors.
They will pay up for future potential profits.
£120 million market value they will think is peanuts, and will compare it to the likes of AVID valued at $1.7 billion.
I think U.S investors will drive up the price of the U.K. listing.
IMHO.DYOR.
U.S investors will look at the likes of $AVID valued at $1.7billion.
They will look at Blackbird’s technology l, and see that it’s cloud based and allows you to edit from any browser on low bandwidth, so no need for $AVID’s expensive on premise hardware.
Then they will look at Blackbird’s margins which are around 93%.
Then they will BUY, BUY, BUY.
IMHO/DYOR.
During the year, Blackbird announced key partnerships with Tata Communications and EditShare, executing against our Original Equipment Manufacturers ("OEMs") strategy, where Blackbird will be sold as an integral part of a larger end-to-end media solution. The scale of these deals will be seen in the near future as their respective sales teams sell Blackbird to end customers. Post the year end, we are delighted to have added EVS, a key provider in the live news and sports industries, to this list of global OEM partners.
Agreed. U.S investors love future technology, and future potential. U.K investors don’t see the bigger picture, they will look at current earnings. U.S investors have been pushing up the price of $AVID over last few months and it’s now valued at around $1.7 billion. They will look at #BIRD and think it is massively undervalued. Blackbird is virtualising what AVID do in the Cloud. No need for AVID’s on premise expensive hardware. With Blackbird you can edit on any browser from anywhere, on low bandwidth. It’s the future. This is going to take off, in my opinion. DYOR.
Great to see John Honeycutt previously Head of Media and Entertainment at Google Cloud commenting on today’s news on his LinkedIn page.
Very happy to share this news about Blackbird plc. While not a new product or capability, gaining exposure to financial markets and investors globally is key.
With a strong US customer base - National Hockey League (NHL) Univision Communications Inc. A&E Television etc - the BIRD is certainly gaining altitude !
Congrats to Ian McDonough & Steve White for taking this bold step.
I doubt it’s from previous placement or options as the CEO, CFO and Chairman have all been buying around current levels. The CEO bought around 800k and Chairman recently paid 34.9p.
Miton and Schroders offloaded a few but I’m guessing they were forced to.
However I believe most of them were placed as there was hardly any volumes going through the market at the time.
Looks like Canaccord increased their holdings by 5 million, so think they took the bulk.
DYOR.
You know your on to something special when CEO of SoftBank is Tweeting about Blackbird.
They seem to have momentum as well now.
Blackbird going to become a standard across the industry.
Expect news about Olympics soon.
All my opinion, do your own research.
IM mentioning, “nice news coming”

Agreed.
Unless your a shareholder you wouldn’t know.
People are certainly sleeping when it comes to the BIRD.
When you got a small company of 40 people down in Wimbledon, and you have Ex Heads of Google Cloud and CEO of SoftBank posting about it, you know the technology is special.
This stock going to be huge medium to long term in my opinion.
Mind you probably be taken out at some point, but let’s hope that’s when we are trading in the pounds rather than pennies.
