This morning we can announce that Blackbird plc and TownNews.com have expanded our US footprint again and now have 80 local US news stations using our integrated solution. This is up from just 5 in 2018 is the third expansion this year.

The majority of Blackbird’s business is now US based and it was a pleasure to be interviewed myself by Katie Pilbeam in person at the OTC Markets Group event last night at the East India Club. I was invited there to promote our US cross listing on the OTCQX exchange. It was also a very rare opportunity to wear a suit and tie!

I hope to be able to FINALLY travel to the US again in January and meet our many new customers over there that we’ve gained as hybrid and flexible working becomes the norm. Also to introduce Blackbird plc to potential new investors as the newly crowned SportsPro Media ‘Best Tech Company 2021’.

Moved down on light volumes when the Omicron news came out.

If anything Blackbird should benefit with the uncertainty as they offer remote editing technology,

Ian Mcdonaugh the CEO was in the States last night at an OTC conference promoting their OTC listing $BBRDF, so hopefully see a pick up in trading in the U.S.

Omicron shows that Covid isn’t going away, and the importance of media and entertainment companies to have Cloud remote capabilities.

Blackbird looks oversold to me.

With Frame.io being bought out for $1.25 million, Blackbird looks massively undervalued.

Only a matter of time before they get taken out, in my opinion.

We are starting to have some exciting conversations around our newly launched 'Powered By Blackbird' solution and how it can drive new and exciting functionality as well as much needed efficiency in cloud video workflows.
