Blackbird (AIM: BIRD; OTCQX: BBRDF), the developer and seller of the market-leading cloud video editing platform, Blackbird, was informed that, on 13 September 2021, the McDonough Family Trust, of which Ian McDonough, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, is a beneficiary, purchased 230,000 ordinary shares of 0.8 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 34.282 pence per Ordinary Share. The Company was informed that, on 14 September 2021, the McDonough Family Trust purchased a further 349,139 Ordinary Shares at a price of 34.70 pence per Ordinary Share.
Following the above purchase, the McDonough Family now together hold a total beneficial interest in 26,179,016 Ordinary Shares, equivalent to approximately 7.74 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

I met John Honeycutt when Blackbird was first introduced to Google, and he took a real fascination in what we were doing.
He was heading up all media and entertainment at Google Cloud then.
