The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Maybe, but SKG in its current form has grown
through decades of acquisitions.
Smurfit Plc , under the current CEO's father (Michael Smurfit)
was highly acquisitive.
Come in, the water's lovely.
Great write up in the IC today.
N/m.
Added back the shares sold previously.
Near £32, unless the ar*e falls out of markets/OR
there is a significant multi year earnings downgrade,
looks decent risk/reward.
...bargain, eh.
Very nearly under £32 by the close.
It's been a long time since I can remember this degree of caution on Diageo.
(may be a bullish contra sentiment sign!)
The sector analysts have access to industry market share and sales data
between updates ( though not from DGE directly) so it may
be data looks more bearish than the outlook DGE last provided.
...has she fainted ;
Better day for markets.

It's a great longer term hold and remains my largest UK listed
single stock holding.
Reverse glug glug more like, UP 10% since your post
and notice you have disappeared, eh.
The 26 GBP mentioned by stargate would pub DGE on approx 16 X forward.
Never say never (there could be earnings downgrades) but find that
very difficult to see.
Hopefully can add those back lower down.
Longer term SKG look very well placed to me fwiw -
ticking all the right boxes - pun intended.
You make so many price target calls on different stocks,
just wondering what your winning trade % is?.
Is possible but may need wider markets lower down and
perhaps also a disappointing trading update/profits warning.
We look to have moved in to a lower trading range,
but SKG can still be traded within that,
particularly as it's given to fat % moves.
Why has the CEO presided over a large recent rise in net debt
just as economies slow.
Net debt is increasing, the dividend is being paid from debt
and at last a broker publicly and clearly states the bleeding obvious.
Fats has mentioned it on here for several years.
I won't be a ...t and click Sell.
Holding 1,100 ATM, my rational is to build a sizeable (for me) position before
the cycle turns.
May be some fat sector moves tomorrow.
SMDS update on Thursday, are we at cycle share price lows?,
would say unlikely, let's see.
Due to short term uncertainty not clicking a Buy.
Low - that should have read.
