ytss - the aim market is not an exercise of pure supply and demand as the MM can manufacture spikes and drops to suit their own agenda. The key to making money is to be invested in a share which over time appreciates in value and then giving the share time to do what you expect. Within that, the next best thing you can do is buy on the dips and then hold so the shares are removed from the grasp of the MM. if the supply of shares is restricted, they may resort to selling shares they don't have, or if that is too risky for them they then allow prices to rise so the bid increases and provides you with an increase in value of your shares. If you know good news is coming, you know eventually you will make money, you also know others will buy and therefore you know the MM will want shares to sell on. Try to think like an MM, keep some cash if you can to exploit the dips. they wont be profitable immediately but buying and holding on a rising long term trend cant be beaten. gla

spbhoy - agree entirely. simple fact is the average quality of each share is much better now with all the progress the company has made, and over time it has become easier and easier to justify buying and averaging up on a bigger exposure. all the buys over time bring a cumulative effect, I have on many occasions had 20 or more buys under water but now every one is in profit. The V price is improving our safety margin, the fact there is no new producer on the immediate horizon, November regs in china, nickderby's news items still to come, I am very confident right now. Also the H1 financials whilst being a giant leap from prior financial periods, reflect only an upturn, not the ongoing run rate, future periods will be stronger still. no debt, piffling warrant level, its all good IMO.gla
