George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Baysilhope, have a relaxing holiday and don't forget to 'slip, slop & slap'. Did the crow not have to cry thrice? Gosh it's confusing here - I have a sneaking suspicion some posters here are not as genuine as they pretend to be, reminds me of my days in the veld - whites of their eyes and all that. Ttfn gla hny gfy
You only seem to appear on days when the price is down, jl5006. Still an interesting post, never the less.
Lord Adam, the boys with their snouts firmly in the trough are getting a bit more negative pubilicity - "Some 64% of shareholders failed to support the huge payout and just 36% voted in favour of the housebuilders renumeration policy in one of the biggest expressions of investor frustration in recent years." "Fairburn did not respond to the shareholder outrage to his bonus, leaving Persimmons interim chairman, Nigel Mills, to field the criticism. He repeatedly apologised to shareholders for the flawed bonus scheme." Still looking for my 30 quid a share though.
I'm not sure, it may be otiose to blame the terror attacks of last year too much. The first quarter of this year has been truly awful for most companies with a direct consumer contact. Time will, of course, tell
There are some shareholders who may feel it a tad otiose to vote against the appointment of the FD as suggested by JTD, however it is the prerogative of the shareholder to use their vote. Alright Baylis, pay no attention to those who feel society has no place for recreational diversions.
I like that word and hope to use it a few times this week. :)
jl5006, I find been accused of 'doom mongering' on the SAGA board by a poster such as yourself rather distasteful. It would seem you take the moral high ground and skulk off when a insult is returned. Bye bye
That was an ironic statement, bottled.
Bottled, Totally agree with you - good luck
Doom mongering???? How do you work that out? Have a glance @ my posts on Saga, Simply click on the user name to read posts. Always declared selling a whack @ 1.70 - no rush for me. No words of wisdom for you - i can see your posting history. Good luck to you & may the seed of your loin end up on the sheets.
"A BoD who genuinely had the interests of shareholders in focus" Really? I suspect they are all grooming unicorns.
Bottled, clearly you are a person of a more sensible nature then myself. My problem is that i find it most bemusing to read posts on a share investment/trading forum pertaining only to a FTSE 250 oil service company that has been tanked by the city. The new poster has joined in the last few days, sought no financial advise elsewhere and placed 450K to the opinion of what can best be described as a 'shower of Cu@@s' 'jog on' - what a teat
Abzzba, yes, up 50% here so took half profit @ 6.00 to treble saga holding - purely to lock in a profit @ what i see as a more stable part of my P/F. Wrong or right time will tell.
Send the sons off to chimney sweep school, a link below for one in Bethnal Green. Then move to Wolverhampton and open a shop = i would suggest engraved statues and Mexican chipolte procucts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DohRa9lsx0Q&list=PLUdgynTJjR6ZIbZZxmj95mYDH2kVYNC2m&index=7
Agile, tell me about it. I won the 112 million on the euromillions - can't think of a thing to do with it. Perhaps, after you firm up a plan, you could tip me the wink.
Plus 2 shorts closing a wee bitty on Wednesday
hard to judge by your guarded posts, but do you see a positive future for the Indian economy ?
since the SP has moved up a touch - any more indignant emails to the board from anyone?
Dragging on a bit is it not? FFS/GFY - the much desired purchase of company stock by the mighty ones did feck all for the price although it brought a few more onanists out of the closet, so to say. TTFN.
A cracking bit of manipulation all day. About 50/50 long and short but personally the shorts look to be running out of steam. G/L
