Just checked the same - couldn't get a price on over 6k shares...

I'd be happy to see this at £1.30 - but i don't see it happening. It's a takeover target because it's cheap and clearly undervalued.

Sorry about your paper loss at the moment! Once this whole Brexit guff is out the way, you'll be in profit, hopefully! UK companies are extremely undervalued at the moment. PHD is the only share I hold at the moment (I sold my other shares in March to re-develop my strategy and work out my position, but I have a few on my "watchlist" and they offer so much value (Quiz group, Keller Group, Galliford Try, Breedon Group, etc). You'll be up in no time :).

Turnaround is due to the new CFO. He has a good reputation for sales of non core units and bringing costs down.

I was thinking about buying in yesterday. But didn't. Will see where this ends - i expect people to start taking profits soon and I'll buy in a small amount later.

Lol i've put in an order for a large chunk if morning volatility pushes this to sub 11. 16p was to high an entry, but at sub 11, i'm willing.

Even if there is no concrete bid, it's still a quality company (IMO) as a cheap price. I'm happy for the share to stay at around this level so I can pick some more up over the next month or two. I'm holding for the long term, and in the long term, PHD has a good future, IMO!

Lots of people float the cash chat for shares here. Yes the company has lots of cash. But it spends a lot when it opens new stores. Also they don't take on debt (I wonder what their debt capacity actually is...). If this company was to close suddenly you can't just think the whole cash is basically shareholders - a lot of it may be committed. Plus cash position is showing cash declined...

For a company where key positions are held by a family unit, you also need to look at the directors and assess the ultimate goals and what you believe perfection is.

Yep. It's an unfortunate position for shareholders. I hope they sell out quickly before they ruin the business - but I dont really see it. A bid is reliant on the family unit selling up. Is that likely? Probably not at this price when they pocketed 90m or so and the company is valued at 20 or so... even if the offer was at 2x. They pocket 20m. Sounds a lot but i can see them gamble...

If things go badly wrong here - i hope the corporate governance code kicks in...

Yep - this is still a fantastic product with to much of a fall.
Directors bought in at higher levels - so i'm still confident. I only have 3500 shares here - but i'm considering purchasing A LOT more. But i'm a dividend investor and i'm waiting to see if Brexit will throw some Dividend bargains :).

A lot of the index rise is due to a weak pound and the risk of a no-deal brexit. Most of the Boris news should be factored in, considering he was the favourite, pre-election.

I sold out at a loss a while ago. Instagram was part of my reasoning why - seeing a couple of directors in this company continuously on holidays, suggested that, after Tarak Ramzan's retirement (it can't be far away IMO), there isn't much leadership on offer. It looked like, to me, as a family - there's limited interest in the company (they've made their millions), and given their shareholding, that's concerning.

If this hit's sub 10 - i'll re-buy here. Otherwise I have no interest.

Agreed. I've got a really small holding of about 3500 shares here (just topped up with 850 today). I'm tempted to increase significantly - but my funds are ear-marked for other things at the moment (a new house, a car, my wedding) and this has moved slowly so far.

But it's a fantastic product, and at a market cap of less than £40m, seems a bargain. Also looking at Crimson Tide in the coming months/ year. But need more research before I commit!

I disagree and don't think figures this year will deviate much from forecasts.

Sales are growing - but they're having to deep discount (and if you look at their trustpilot, they're not the best at deliveries/ lots of people return stuff which impacts the bottomline). I sold out and took a loss of over £3000. But i'm glad I sold out as the price fell further! I think this is a fantastic long-term opportunity and I will buy back in later, once I have some funds I can risk. :)

Lombardiar realistically only accounts for about 500k shares. More have been bought in the past 2 days. So another big buyer likely.

The Board has already shown it's confidence in the company - Alan and Sophie (NEDs) purchased shares at 59p each. Tim has purchased shares at 39p each. I think that show's you they have faith in the company.

I'm looking to enter the share also for that reason - just waiting for when it's bottomed (probably now? I missed sub 30 which what was I was looking for).

Yeah - the value of the company at the moment is ridiculous (and completely undervalued). But until there's more positive news (and Quiz has never been good at that!), I don't expect movement upwards...

I agree it wont jump that quick. Yeah long term its good prospects - I wish i could hold for the long term but since buying these, I got engaged abroad and will need to sponsor my wifes visa. Just that's my priority (need to hold cash...). I bought these at £6 and still think that was cheap lol. May end up selling and rebuying soon!

expecting a minor hit to profit and revenue this year for the APAC reduction. But long term profitability should be good.

I'm hoping the share price gets above £6.50 so I can sell lol. Should be achievable as there were a flurry of PDMR buys at around the 6 quid mark i think.
