No worries :). Yep - i do recommend emailing him when/if you have questions.
Yes - when i invest in a company, one of the criteria i set is how the CEO (and board) engages with me. Tim is good at replying to emails. I've not asked for anything confidential - mainly clarification points. I do recommend speaking to boards - you are trusting them with money. In my case, Proactis is, by far, my largest holding.
To add - I was wrong re. The update. This week was the target but dont think it will be met. New target is the 25th - hopefully the delay is because something positive is brewing.
Trading update is sometimes this week. That much I know. Tim confirmed it in an email to me. Hope it's a good one.
No idea... low volume leading to high prices. Theres little stock available...
Did a dummy sell from one of my accounts - i was quoted 38.125 for about 54704 shares. Wow - wonder if something is going on???????????
Yeah... it probably undervalues the company, but do you honestly expect something in excess of 1.50 a share, given we are at 36p at the moment? That's a huge premium. 65p is still a decent return and probably more reasonable. I would love 1.50 given that would make me over 100k in ISA profit.
I agree with that. I know, if it was a takeover being launched, a ceo wouldnt admit it. That would go under insider dealing .
Personally - I would like to see a takeover, even at something like 65p. That would give me a nice profit to put towards a new house :).
Not an exact date... week three of August. Hopefully its early in the week!
No information at all. All I asked was if we will get a trading update.
I did previously ask re. Dbay and he said he didnt think it was anything more than them seeing value. At the current price. Whether that means scope for a takeover, I don't know.
Trading update is in the third week of August. Not sure the exact date. I like Tim as CEO - he's pretty responsive to emails. But I try and not ask anything that could qualify me for insider dealing.
I believe 35.8 would be buys. I tried to buy shares around 30 seconds ago as a test. I was quoted 36.875 for £7500 worth. That's a rise on what I was quoted yesterday. That doesn't make sense if these were genuine sales as the number of shares on the books of MMs will be considerably higher (120k shares is almost 0.15% of available shares).
Ah that's fine :). Thanks! I get dividends for some of my holding anyway :).
Thanks for the explanation :). I find ex-dividend dates confusing lol. Will that mean i'll get dividends for the shares I purchased this morning? Or am I right in thinking I wont?
Ah thanks for the explanation. I thought I had played a blinder, getting in cheap and dividend also. I guess I wont get dividends for the shares I purchases today?
I had bought my first tranch at 618 - i had bought previously at 560ish and sold for 720ish (done this twice). I've been a long-term holder for a while, but traded stocks in April/May/June... This is still a fantastic company :).
Anyone know why the massive fall today? I know HL report it as being ex-div today, however from the last statement by the company, it-s ex div from CoB tomorrow.
My purchase order was triggered at 565 - i amn't complaining as I think this is a fantastic company. But wondering if I missed an update?
Yep - i've just bailed also. Mainly because if there's a second wave, gyms will not be popular. A lot of my friends that attend gyms have now just set up their "gym" at home. Personally, i've taken up boxing and running. My expectation is that membership numbers will have fallen further than what was previously reported. Why? it's to early for some people to return - who want's to touch dirty barbells/dumbells? Plus - the impact of higher re-opening costs (sanitizers, more staff, more monitoring, etc...).
Eerily quiet here...
I hold around 20,000 shares. I can see why the family hasn't bought, given they own a ton of shares in the first instance. Any more, and they may need to take company private/ buy it out.
Mainly aimed at Pete - I hate rampers lol...
To be honest, a lot of us have been accumulating recently - 35p a share is an absolute bargain if you have a long term view. Dbay may simply see the same.
