I agree - this is a cheap share and probably accounts for 10% of my portfolio also. But i'm mainly investing for dividends now. I've probably broken a bigger rule and have around 20% in a small cap :). But there, i'm waiting for a takeover to be announced! :)
but the real benefit for me is that those 65000 suppliers - some of them may encourage other companies to sign up. Like a domino effect. Thats the real value. The first deal was always for me the start of a huge domino effect.
Its been approved for use by their suppliers. Not all will take it up. So figures are probably unknown at the moment.
SLA remains a good investment, imo. There's a CEO with a new approach and with direct experience re. What SLA clients want. Will be interesting to see what happens.
Dividend was cancelled for the same reason a lot of other companies cancelled - they had no idea of what the economic impact is. Last update did say they are expecting to announce an interim dividend, and we should find out on the 10th (when results for the 6 months to 31 Oct are due).
Look at the share price movements in the past year. Share-price has been pretty volatile. Always comes down, then goes back up, and repeats...
took two positions in here last week. Keller group is one of my favourite companies. Excellent management, excellent dividend and excellent profitability.
Even if there's a short term fall, this is still, in the longterm, a good investment. I took a position last week and am planning to hold until I'm 50 to fund retirement:).
Anyway - gsk is a essential company so does it even fall under lockdown guidance?
Not sure if Dbay will make a move to buy the company. Proactis have a strategy and it is working. There isn't that long a time frame in which Dbay can low-ball it. If the strategy works, they'll need to increase their offer. Plus Lombardier hedges the risk as they probably won't sell cheaply.
I'm interested in the NEDs - would be interesting to see who joins the Board.
Yes - i've topped up on the back of this. Currently hold around 200,000 shares and might top up further. This is a long-term for me.
Yeah. I was curious about that. Margin looks squeezed compared to the usually 1p spread i get quoted
33's were buys. I got quoted 32.75 for when I wanted to sell earlier this morning.
33s are buys. 32.74~ is sales. Small spread compared to historics.
I can sell at 32.75 and buy at 33. Margins are relatively small for this share.
There's also a chunky 250,000 share purchase. Wonder if that's DBay or another II?
I suspect a bigger shareholder has given up. We will see who it is this week, I guess.
Buy/sell markings aren't being accurate. I sold a chunk today as a mini-hedge (I need funds to fund a house purchase later this year). These were displayed as a buy.
Are they though? I can sell a huge chunk at 35p - unlikely that DBay can get huge amounts at the same price i can sell for.
Yep. I do think 35 is the floor price.
Wonder what will happen in the coming days.
Wow. That's a lot of sells today...
Quite a large fall in share price on minimal volume... wonder if we'll get to 40p again in the near term.
Can't say I'm not disappointed in the update I expected a lower debt value and more on BePayd. Doesn't look like there is much strategy for either and its more down to hope.
