zwartkops - 500%?? hmm we have had many predictions from 1p to 5p... and VAST being a mid-tier.... did you know that vast had been the laughing stock over the last 12 months...

Good thing is finance sorted and from a technical standpoint, SP currently sitting on the support line.... Need BP progress? Has anyone asked - Did china equipment leave China? if not when - as China is locked down for few weeks?

Looks like spreadex is keeping the SP in a range?

Pecten - yesterday's news was in a way "having fun" with imminently and shortly.. I kind of thought, we would get news today or on monday - so that VAST BoD can say they have kept their word :) I don't mind that.. VAST and AP would have been the last person to put yesterday RNSs with those words after all the past disappointments..

Finance is sorted - we now got to progress BP...

I had been a big critic of AP... but this 20% of AP's group show commitment and confidence.. Commend that..

The Directors of Vast who own shares in the Company have also executed a
Share Escrow Agreement with Atlas whereby the Directors are offering,
for no monetary reward, substantially the whole of their personal
shareholdings in the Company, amounting in aggregate to 143,140,500
shares ("Shares"), as guarantees for certain of the Company's
obligations under the Bond Issue Deed together with the achievement of
certain milestones. The Shares will be released back to the Directors
upon the achievement of these obligations and milestones. Atlas have
agreed that the Shares will remain in the beneficial ownership of the
Director concerned and they will not in any circumstances deal in or
encumber the Shares in any way during the escrow period. Details of the
individual participations in the form of PDMR disclosures are set out in
the Appendix below

Oh dear, oh dear, London’s worst Nomad, Roland “Fatty” Cornish really does have a lot on his plate this morning. I refer not to his third portion of finest Manx Kippers dripping in butter, followed by a quartet of hot crumpets with lashings of strawberry jam. No, he is already in hot water over his advice to ADVFN (AFN) that it should break AIM Rules but now Fleet Street Legend Brian Basham has written to Fatty about another of his cash guzzling and worthless clients, Vast Resources (VAST) and, thanks to Winnileaks, I have that letter.
Basham was a director of Vast, stepping down more than two years ago, but knows a bit about the company which, as I explained HERE yesterday, offers free money as a stonking short. Basham’s complaint relates to the interim results released on 17 January which, he says, contains statements that are just not true but which Fatty signed off on as verifiably true. That would not be considered best practice among Nomads on the AIM Casino and thus I feel that it is my duty as a good citizen to bring this latest, of a long line of failings, by Cornish to the attention of the Oxymorons at AIM Regulation. Basham writes:

‘A far stronger position than at any time in the Company’s history’. How can that be the case? It is possible I suppose that IF the funding comes through and IF agreement is reached with ZCDC it MIGHT eventually come to be in 'A far stronger position than at any time in the Company’s history’ but at the moment the statement is totally misleading.
The company has been in a much stronger position in the past, well before Andrew Prelea took control and in my view wrecked it.

Just consider: The share price peaked at 26.53p on April 4 2008. In 2013 it reached 6.76p on March 1st. It then had $15m in the bank, very little debt, and the Pickstone mine to build. Now it has a delayed 'death spiral’ funding; agreement with ZCDC on a diamond concession long overdue; the promise of Baita production by Dec 2019 missed; etc., etc. A share price standing at 100th of it’s peak at 0.28p with bears emerging and more than 10 billion shares in issue. Ridiculous!
That is a much weaker position than today. Andrew’s statement should be retracted.
I’ve had people call me saying that ‘Andrew is sitting in his hotel room, waiting to go to see the Minister of Mines’. It looks to me very much as though he is outrageously ramping the shares, with the help of Lee Morris if gossip is to be believed - and, generally it is because the company is so leaky.
Andrew will recall and it should be minuted that I argued strongly for all contact with Lee Morris to be cut. He kept calling me and pumping me for information, which I refused to give. Eventually I told him to not call me again and raised the matter at a board meeting. I believe we agreed to maintain confidentiality. What a joke!

This has to stop.

Isas - Vast is aware of the accusations and apparently nomad was notified of the same. Nomad will action what they see fit.. I was also expecting a RNS from vast clarifying the situation, but I don’t know what actions vast will take or what clarification vast would offer. GL

There are some serious accusation by Shareprophet article - VAST BoD need to come out and address this issue..

It is time we as shareholders get some update from VAST on finance and BP progress?
